So I am on CD 9. Clomid this month CD 3-7. Last month RE raised the clomid from 50mg to 100mg he said it was our 3rd try and he wanted to be more aggressive. Go for my monitoring u/s on CD 11 I was feeling some cramping at this point to mine and they RE'S surprise 7 follies ready to go! Almost canceled my cycle they called me later that day and told me they didn't want me to wait till morning and give myself the Ovidrel that night. 2 weeks later. So we start again round 4 came Started clomid CD 3-7 he lowered the dose to 75mg this time 100 was too much apparently. U/S appt. to start monitoring follies on Wednesday. On Monday feeling the cramping again...didn't want to take any chances Called the office told them what I was feeling they said ok come in on Tuesday instead. So I go in this morning and expalined what I was feeling so she said well it is only day 9 so lets see what going on. the next thing I hear is OH BOY! I was like what's going on so she says well on the right you already have 1 that is 21 mm another that is about 20 mm and 1 one the lef following right behind . Now I work at a pharmacy so she asked me if I had mo ovidrel and I said I had it at work so she said well as soon as you get there give it to yourself I was so excited . So I did. She also said she had never seen anybody react so quickly to clomid as I do. So tonight we try and tomorrow we try naturally. And the 2 week wait begins again. Wish us luck . BTW has anybody ever reacted this quickly before or am I some kind of freak?

03/09 First visit w/fert doc.- went well all testing done on hubby and myself...results PERFECT!

04/09 First round of Clomid 50mg/Took forever to grow some follies/2 weeks later Ovidrel was told go home and have fun/ Endometrin for a week then...

05/09 Waiting for 2nd round of Clomid 50 mg/ Follies came quick this month 1 good one about 22mm/Ovidrel and time intercourse/Endometrin for 2 weeks then...another

06/09 Round 3 Clomid 100mg this time/follies were so quick and furious almost had to cancel the cycle 3 really good one on the left all above 23mm felt lots of cramps witht this one/Ovidrel and timed intercourse/ Prometrium 600mg a day for 2 weeks....

07/06/09 Now just waiting to start Clomid again....Happy Birthday to me!


7/8/09 Starting round 4 of clomid....75mg this time Dr. said 100mg was to much.

07/12/09- Finished Clomid first monitoring u/s on Wed to check follies.
7/13/09- Cramping called RE they told me to come in on tuesday instead.
7/14/209- Holy cow only CD 9 and already 1 follie is 21 mm another about 20 mm on the right and 1 following right behind in the left.... time for OVIDREL!

That sounds very hopeful that you are responding so well. Im on first round of clomid, 50 mg with no u/s so no clue about follie numbers. my progesterone was low this month though so next round 100 mg with u/s and trigger shot. Would you mind telling me how much the Ovidrel trigger is for you? My Dh worries about money so I want to prepare him if it's expensive. Thanks so much!!

Because I work for the pharmacy I get it a little cheaper but the Ovidrel is $80 for me but regular price is about $100 or so ....it is not so bad. That is cash price without insurance...my insurance doesn't pay for any infertility meds. Good luck with the Clomid I hope you have the same response I have to it it makes the cycles move so much faster! Now I am in my 2 week wait period and not looking forward to it.....I hate this time of the cycle.
