Anyone in the Denver area?

Hi Girls- Anyone out there in the Denver area? If so, would you mind giving me the name of your RE, and if you like him/her? I am currently with Kaiser Permanente, but they do not offer IVF. So, we are thinking of switching insurances at the end of the year so we can do IVF next year if we need to, which means a new RE! So, I am already starting the search!!
Feel free to send me a private message if you aren't comfortable posting the name of your RE.
Thanks SO Much!!!

RE in Denver

I just finished my IVF#1 in Denver. Actually down in Parker. My RE is amazing. The clinic is called Rocky Mountain Fertility Center and the entire staff is simply amazing! I highly, highly recommend them! Her name is Dr. Deborah Smith. Good luck!

Thanks Lady Charles!! I will definitely look into Rocky Mountain Fertility Center. Parker is a bit far for us (we are just north of Denver.) But, I will definitely still look into it...we really want to find the right clinic/RE for us, and of course someone who will take our new insurance is very important. If we can get a portion of IVF covered, that would be ideal!
Oh, and please keep us informed of the results of your IVF. Sending lots of baby dust your way!!

flash- We're still trying to figure that out. DH is out of town this week, but he is going to look into it next week. I told him to get all of the insurance options from his work, and then we'll look to see if any of them cover IVF.
I'll let ya know as soon as I find out!

I live in Springs, but my REs office was part of University of Colorado's Advanced Reproductive Medicine. They have 4 docs and I met all of them at least once during my journey. I had all my regular appts here in Springs, so I can't tell you what the office itself is like in Denver, but I loved both Dr. Murray and Dr. Schlaff (they were the main ones I saw - Dr. Murray is the main Springs doc and Dr. Schlaff was here once a week. He also did my ER up in Denver). The others I met during my ER and ET up in Denver and they seemed super nice as well. From some correspondence I've had with other folks who used the Denver office, they were really happy as well, and generally they try to have you see your main doc as much as possible (sometimes because of the timing of meds and procedures and silly AF that didn't happen). Oh, I think their office is near the hospital in Aurora. Good luck!

Hi Hopeful in CO- This is really weird, but I got a private message from ColoGirl telling me that she lives in CO Springs, and goes to The Center for Advanced Reproductive Medicine! Sheesh! Have you guys touched base yet? I wonder how many Colorado girls there are on here! How funny! At first, I thought you were the same person, but then I realized your screen names were slightly different. Anyway, thanks for the info! I am actually just north of Denver, so Aurora is a little far for us to go. :-( Sounds like a great place though! I looked it up online….
Wish me luck in finding someone great in Denver!! AND a BIG CONGRATS on your pregnancy!!!!

Also- If anyone in Colorado has insurance that covers a portion of IVF....please let me know!! We are searching, and I don't know if there are any, but it is at least worth a try to see.
Thanks!!

Hi-
I also go to the University of CO Advanced Reproductive Med Clinic. I'm pleased with their treatment so far (would be much more pleased if I had a BFP already! I go to the main hospital off of Colfax in Aurora.

I also go to the University of Colorado's Advanced Reproductive Medicine in Aurora! I see Dr. Mcshane the most. They are all really good dr.s and nurses! They have always been very kind and they also explain everything. I am trying to get into shape to transfer our last frozen embryo from there early next year
