Question Anybody from South Carolina?

Hi, I was just wondering if there is anybody from South Carolina here? I need to find a good RE and could use some advice from somebody who knows this area. Thank you

I'm from northeastern georgia. I'm looking into different RE's as well. We did our first IVF in Indiana (where I'm from). But it failed. We don't want to travel as far next time so we are looking closer to home (within a few hours).

We are also hoping to find a shared risk program

I am looking for something outside of SC, probably. Because there is one fertility clinic here and the prices are way higher than anywhere else. They charge around $2000 for IUI without meds. Plus initial testing will be another $2000. Insurance doesn't cover anything, so I don't know how we can pay for everything. How much did you pay for yours?

Its not SC, but REACH in Charlotte has been wonderful, specifically with any doc that has a name starting with "W" (Wing, Whitesides, etc.)

Our IVF in indiana was about 8K and that did include meds. But I was not happy at all with my treatment. Yes, it was a BFN, but even before that we had lots of problems with the dr and staff.

Now we are considering Dr. Jutras at advanced reproductive concepts in Huntersville, NC and also Dr. Harper at Hunstville IVF. Both of these places are about 4 hours from us.

We live an hour from atlanta, but the clinics are so costly!!! I looked into REACH in Charlotte but it is very pricey too.

Are those in NC a little bit cheaper? I might look into that too. I don't care how long I have to drive there, as long as they don't charge me an arm and a leg for the treatment
