I did my home prego test (10/8), 2 weeks post IUI, and it came up negative. I called the doctor to ask for a blood test to verify it. They didn't bother to call me back until Friday afternoon and I had my blood drawn late that day. They told me that they wouldn't be able to call me with the results until Monday. That was frustrating because I was using progesterone twice daily and wanted to know if I should/could stop using it. I decided to go ahead and stop since it would be 6 treatments that would be wasted.
I ended up getting a call on Saturday morning advising me that I had a positive HCG, but it was low so they wanted to test me again on Monday. They asked me to come in on Monday during their labs/Ultrasound time period which is always 7a-9:30a ea morning.
So now I'm freaked out. I started doing the progesterone again right away. But the problem is that I got that morning. So I've been dealing with cramps which might be related to some problem or to my period and having to do the progesterone while on my period. It's not been fun.

I'm wondering if they might also want to do a US on Monday morning. They didn't mention that, but I think I've seen some people's posts say that they can see areas in the uterus where a fertilized egg tried to attach and wasn't able to stay. I would hate to drive all that way just for labs when I could have those done at a lab nearby.

Has anyone else had an experience like this? I'm kicking myself for stopping the progesterone for 36 hrs based off the home prego test. Is it possible that I could have maybe had an implanatation late and I could still get my period for this first month, but still be pregnant?
