ladyki- Have you looked into a shared risk program? I am not sure if your clinic does it/ if you are eligible- you won't need to save up for the full cost of multiple IVFs- but you do need to make a payment. But you get a cycle free essentially.

Here is an example of one:
Attain IVF Treatment Plan. Increase IVF Success. Visit an Attain IVF Clinic.

Also- if they are able to get a bunch of eggs at ER you may not NEED a second IVF. And FET for frozen embryos is much cheaper ($3000 or so.)

Hello JessStillWaits,

I asked, but I think they said that they do not have a shared program, but I will double check. YEah and hopefully, I will be able to make a bunch of eggs, that way I can freeze them.

DH - 31 yrs old, no problems

Furrybabies, Minnie and Duke

Oct.08- diagnosed with Endo stage IV via lap.

Dec.08- 1st visit with RE/endo specialist, did all fertility testing including HSG and SA for DH. All clear with the exception of a elevated FSH.

Jan.09 - RE is advising us to go directly to IVF.

March 09 - RE gave us the ok to do a couple of rounds of fertility meds and IUI.

March 2009 to Sept. 2009 - Saving money for IUI and IVF it is necessary.

10/09 # 1 IUI used femara, menopur injectables and HCG trigger.

Nope, my insurance just sucks. It is free so I guess that is why they dont pay for anything but dr's visits. I am going to ask my DH to start looking in to his from work. Hey if they pay for 20 or 30 percent of anything, that will work for us, lol.
