Any suggestions?

Hello Ladies-

Well my first round trying to concieve with the help of the fertility clinic was not successful so here I go again. This time I will be doing IUI. I was wondering if you could please give me some advice for things I could do different this cycle. I know some women drink tea or a certain kind of juice or are there vitamins that have you feel helped you concieve? Any and all suggestions are welcome. I just want to make sure I am doing everything I can this next round. Thanks in advance for your responses.

Ryles

Ryles - To be honest, I got my BFP the cycle I didn't try anything special. I did take Royal Jelly but I had done that with IUI's #2-4 also. I also swore off caffeine while TTC. My philosophy for IUI#5 was to be as normal as possible...kept up with my exercise the whole cycle and just tried to forget I was trying to get pregnant. I'm not saying that's why I got pg, but I didn't do anything special. Just be healthy. Good luck!

To be honest, if you're taking meds to try to get pregnant, and doing the IUI, etc, anything little like drinking a certain tea seems so minor to me that I can't imagine it would have as much of an impact as the meds you'd be on. I would just follow the doctor's recommendations, do all the testing and bloodwork that is required, and hope for the best. It will work or it won't, and there's nothing more that you can do other than try. It's so frustrating, but all of us only have so much control, and the rest either happens or doesn't. Good luck!

Not a lady, but one thing we were drilled on, was to stop making it so epic. Time things as you should and have fun, lots of time getting worked up hinders the process.
