For those who have doctors you really like, how did you find him or her?

I found my OB/GYN through a friend of my mom's who highly recommended her. She has been a truly awesome doctor! She is very thorough and has worked hard to get to the bottom of my problem. She ran a bunch of tests, which helped explain why I miscarried, and then referred me to a rhematologist and a perinatalogist. She also recommended that I see a fertility specialist, although I haven't done that yet.
