Hello Everyone!!

This is the first time I have used an online support. After reading an infertility book, it recommended this. So....I am giving it a try.

Let me tell you about myself:

I am 28 y/o my DH is 32y/o. We have been TTC for 6 years now. We are in the "unexplained infertility" category. We have gone through three rounds of IUI. After the 3rd IUI, we became frustrated with the emotional roller coaster and decided to take a break. That was almost 3 years ago. Even though, we were not doing "infertility treatments" , we were still trying to conceive. We have decided to give it a try again. This time we are considering IVF. Can anyone out there tell me what to expect?

Thanks!!!!

Sorry to hear your story, I hope that this site gives you the support and answers your looking for. I am 29 and am somewhat new to all this, I have only done 1 IUI so far, we have MF issues, I am sure it is better to at least know what the problem is. I was told IVF may be our best option a few times, but am trying the IUIs anyhow. Let me know how it goes...wishing you lots of luck...

Thank you for responding! Like I said before, I have been through several IUI cycles. So if you have any questions or need to know what to expect, feel free to ask. At what point are you with the first IUI?(How far along in the cycle?)

I don't mean to be dense...but since I am new to this, I am not up on all the acronyms. MF does that stand for male factor?????

It would be nice if we knew what the problem was!! We are going to try a new RE this go around. Our first RE was good, however he was not very good at counseling. Hopefully, we have success with this next RE. He was recommended to us by several people.

Welcome to this forum. We are all very supportive here so don't be afraid to ask any questions or to vent your frustrations.

We are all here for the same goal, to become mothers and to be supportive for each other.

Good luck in your journey.

Elisha
