I've been on this forum for over a year now. I've been in the battle for almost 5. The first few years were rough but honestly this forum has helped me a ton. Having someplace to turn where people actually understand how you are feeling, what you are going through, the ups and the downs and the in betweens. It's helpful talking it out, venting when you need to, having cyber shoulders to cry on. I just would remember that the finish line still hadn't been crossed and I wasn't giving up on the race. So I'd let myself have my down time, then I'd pick myself up, dust myself off and start all over again.

hi
I am amazed and inspired by those of you who have been in this so long and I'm so glad that many of you are getting to have the babies you've wanted. Its a struggle to not let it rule your life and I am already so tired of dealing with it all and I know my situation isn't as difficult as many. Thanks for the support and it has helped a lot as jen said to be here and to know that there are people who understand the frustration and the sadness that comes with this.

I know exactly what you mean. If this cycle hadn't worked, it would have been a really tough month for me. I joined this forum in January and it has helped me immensely. Also, I just kept thinking, "Well, what other options do I have?" I just wasn't ready to give up on having a baby of my own, so I just kept pushing through each month. Persistence is key because you WILL get your baby!!

I agree with Amy, I have a goal and although my methods of getting there are always changing. I have to keep charging on, until my goal of having a baby is met!
