Update....

Hello ladies...so cycle 2 is underway and it is time for the . (after 15 days of injections!!!) We were really considering going with the IUI but I have 5 follies, so we are going to try it on our own. I have to admit, I am super nervous about having five, and I was a bit on the fence about going forth with this cycle...but here we go. I am tremendously crampy and fatigued, so I hope this goes well. I am for our this cycle. I am feeling optimistic!

Good luck! I wouldn't worry too much about having 5 follies. I had 4 decent ones with my last cycle and only one fertilized and implanted. Just because you have a mature follie, doesn't necessarily mean there is a good egg inside it. Lots of and do you!

Jenny...that is very exciting about your little jelly bean!

As for me am feeling incredibly crappy this cycle. I am so bloated...I look 6 months prego!! Plus I am having major cramping! The doc warned me that I would be uncomfortable, but I am not feeling well at all. I definitely had some mild OHSS this cycle. I felt so badly yesterday I couldn't even bring myself to do the . So we only did the day of our trigger and the day after. I hope that was enough!

Has anyone else experienced these symptoms before? About how long does it take to resolve?

I think you should be fine with only BDing the day of and the day after your trigger. We did the day before and the day after with this last cycle and it was enough. I had planned to do it again 3 days after the trigger, but thanks to the hormones, I really didn't want DH to even touch me. Honestly, if I could have gotten pregnant with him in a different room, that would have been fine. If you feel up for it, it probably wouldn't hurt to give it a go tonight just for good measure. And I hope your OHSS clears up soon. Good luck!

How areyou feeling now? What dosages were you on, your 2nd cycle of the follistim?

I havent commented that much but have been looking on alot. I had 7 follies 4 14's, a 15, a 16, and a 19. I know the doc said that they are ideal between 16 and 18 but he said anything over a 14 is likeley to drop. I only had 1 on friday the 1st and by monday the 3rd it had jumped to 7. It has been 26 days of shots so I was pretty well ready for a change!! he said we could go ahead with it and I was shocked (but extatic inside) because we had so many and I was still young. I am 24 and hubbie is 27 but we have been trying for 2 yrs now. So we did the trigger shot yesterday(the 4th) and we did the twice on the 3rd , the 4th and again tonight hopefully. I am wondering if I should have skipped this cycle. I guess it is too late for that now. The doc never really said when we should so I am wondering how long we should keep at it. Despite all the follies, we are really exited about getting prego and really eager so as much that we can do to help as possible. How long did it take you to be able to tell if you were prego Persephone1881? Or did you wait to test for fear of getting hopes up?! This is only my first round of follistim pin so my hopes arent too too high but it would be very nie to only have to do one round of this stuff!

Hey ladies...I just wanted to pass along the good news...I got a yesterday!!! I can't believe...I checked it 3 times because I thought for sure it couldn't be true! I can't believe I am !!!

I still am feeling pretty crampy and bloated due to my OHSS, and everything I have read about it looks like it won't resolve completely until I am around 10 weeks. But, the pain is totally worth a little jelly bean!! Yeah! I will keep you updated.

Congrats!!!! Will you be getting a Beta done?

No worries about 5, when we did this cycle, I started with 15 follices on clomid - first time ever! and we are blessed to still have one little girl that is due on the 20th!

So everything I have read has said not to compare beta HCG levels, because everyone is so different and normal range is so wide, but....I still am a tiny worried. The nurse was not concerned at all because my 1st beta was 23 and my 2nd 2 days later was 41. So the nurse said that is fine, especially for only 4 weeks. I am so happy about our but still very nervous. I am sure that is normal.

Congrats on your BFP!! How many dpo was your first beta? I know it's hard not to compare numbers and worry that yours is too low (I am not saying yours is too low ) but do your best to relax and take comfort in the fact that a) your beta is increasing at a perfectly acceptable rate and b) your nurse is not worried at all. Do you go in for another beta?

Congratulations Mirthful!! You give me hope as I am about to embark on my 2nd round of injectables. Were you on progestern at all?

My first cycle I was on progesterone supp., but this cycle my lining was 10...so I didn't need it.

I am freaking out today because I missed the call yesterday from the nurse about my 3rd hcg level...so I am waiting to call this morning. I work nights, so I was sleeping when she called and I didn't wake up until after office hours! AHH!! Hopefully my hcg level is fine again.

Mirthful, well this is crazy but what I thought was AF turned out to be implantation bleeding and today I did a blood test and got a ! My date of conception was August 7 and today my beta was 63 but my progesterne was a 12.5 and they like it to be a 15 she said so they are putting me on suppositories. What was your progestene at your first beta?
