Ok, I started menopur 75 IU on day 5 of my cycle. Had US on CD9 and they find 3 follies 9mm, 8mm, 8mm. My RE said to start taking menopur 150 IUI (double). Today I had my US CD11 and the follies 9mm, 8,5mm, 8,5mm. It;s not growing. Re said continiue with Menopur 150IU and come in 2 days.

I'm starting to become nerveous. I'm so moody now because of all the hormons in my body, and I was just crying after the nurse called

Did someone had the same thing and still got pg? (we are doing IUI)

I'm not even talking about financial side - we have no insurance and every blood test and US cost me 500$. And if the follies growing slowly, that's mean more bloodtests and US

I am so sorry to hear that the follicles are not growing. Unfortunately I am only on my first cycle with the menopur so I don't have any advice to give. I do hope that you make it through okay and I will be praying that you get a BFP next time you test!

I just finished my first round of follistim. my follicles did not grow for a long time... i have pcos... so they were there but tiny. after 21 days of shots that and three different doses.. I finally had an egg! I did my ovidrel trigger wed... need to a few more times then on to the tww. praying for my

We are now pregnant after 2nd iui treatment!
on the first attempt my follicles vwere a good size but they were even bigger on the 2nd 18mm and 22mm!

Hello. I haven't had luck so far with Follistim. I have had two cancelled cycles due to the fact that my follicles are not maturing. I will be starting with my third cycle next week. Re says I will start with 225iu's, hopefully this will do the trick!

Hi I also have small follies ... last cycle I only had one at 8.7 on day 20! Im starting injectables next week so I hope this works - can we please hear from women who are in the same boat and injectables saved the day???

I was on clomid for 6 cycles and no response what so ever. I went up to 150 mg before calling it quits. So dont get disscouraged. I am taking injectables for the second cycle now. The follistim has to be adjusted for what works for you. My first few weeks I got no response with 50 iu or 75 iu. Then I had 7 follies on my first cycle after bumping my dose to 100 iu. It just takes patience. I know that is hard to do. It drove me crazy to keep doing all this with no results but you WILL get there!! Good luck!
