Thumbs up Ory Protocol (Menopur)

Ok ladies has anyone done the ory protocol? I'll be taking clomid 100mg days 3-7 then on the 9thcd I take an injection of menopur. After that I do a mid-cycle u/s on cd12-14 to see if follies are there etc... then we do trigger when told. Anyone done this or similar without IUI and had success?

This is my very first time on 100mg of clomid and on any type of injection.
Any thoughts or advice, encouragement are welcome, PLEASE!
Thanks!

No one has any advice on how to inject or anything?! I was hoping to see how everyone does it... like do you just jab the needles in or do you just slowly insert? This is my main fear and anxiety.

Sometimes the menopur can sting on it's way in... my Dr. suggested using an ice cube before injection to help with the 'sting'-- it does help a LOT!

Hope that helps!

Best of luck!

Thanks everyone!! I took the meds with me on vacation and ended up having to do it there. The menopur wasn't bad at all. I didn't feel the needle but the medicine did sting a little. I took the HCG shot last night and that wasn't bad either. I ended up having some really good follies so we'll see.

CONGRATS fairydust can't wait to hear about your numbers!!! You give me such hope!

I'm sorry you're cramping but I think that's a good sign though.

Me... well I was bloated the day before yesterday, then yesterday I felt better but this am I'm cramping like crazy. I took two motrin and it helped ease it some but now I just feel really sore... not sure what that's from. have any idea?
