I took the ovodrel shot on the 4th and am having pains in the abdomin constantly and worse when we are . This is making it hard to want to to try to get prego. Wondering if anyone else had similar symptoms. Very frustrated!! I had 7 follies and am wondering if that was way too many despite the docs go-ahead!. My E was only 200. Hoping there arent any problems!!

When I ovulated with lots of follies like you (I had 7-10) I was in A LOT of pain as well.

Just try and rest, drink lots of gatoraid and take things slow when doing the baby .

This is a good sign...means lots of eggs...and an increase chance of getting .

Just keep your Dr. informed if you start having trouble breathing, that could be a sign that you have extra fluid building in your lungs from the OHSS. But I'm sure you'll be just fine.

I'm doing IVF but I too had 7 eggs when I took my Ovidril.
I had the WORST friggin' pain in my stomach, around my ovaries. They hurt when I WALKED. Each step I felt pain.

It did go away after my egg retrieval. Or, that could have been the vicodin they gave me. lol

Oh yeah!!! I had 5 follies along with OHSS...and I have been in a tons of pain! I think we you ovulate like that, it is common to have pain. Hope you are feeling better!

I only had one large follicle but about 20 small ones ( I have pcos). Good news: I am now pregnant . Bad news : my ovaries hurt so bad I think I am going to pass out when I walk lol. All worth it!
