Injectables
Anyone knows whats the injection Lupron for?MY RE give the injection Lupron on every CD 25 after IUI.Anybody having same expereince?

Me - 28 yrs. May not be ovulating everymonth DH - 32 yrs. Count 85 Million,73% Motile Married for 6 years Termination done on 2003 TTC from 2005 2007 identified with Antisperm Antibody Problem Started homeopathic medications.Back to normal Nov 2007 Chemical Pregnancy  IUI #1 CD 4,5,6,7,8 Clomid Sonagraphy on CD 4,10 and 12 to check follies 2 Follicles 18.5mm and 19 mm and a small fibroid CD 10 HCG Shot IUI CD 12 - 10/7/08 CD 21 - 19/7/08 To 28/7/08 Progestron suppositery vaginal ,Eastrogen oral and Luprofact Injection CD 26 & 29 - HPT -  AF - 31/7/08  IUI # 2 Sonography on CD 3 - 2/8/08 . Found the fibroid is growing Letrozole 8 tablets on CD3 Sonography CD8 , CD10 & CD12 - 1 Good folly size 19mm CD 12 - HCG Shot IUI on CD 14 - 13/08/08.Progestron suppositery vaginal ,Eastrogen oral and Luprofact Injection 1/09/08 - HPT - AF - 3/09/08 Laproscopy on 8/09/08 Fibroid 4cm

Hi! I am on lupron also right now for a donor egg ivf cycle. It is to supress ovulation. My RE is using it to shut down my system.

ED gives us 34 eggs! 9/17 transferred 3 grade B blastocysts (all from DH) 3 Snowbaby blastocysts 9/24 two lines on HPT!!! 9/29 beta = 421  10/1 2nd beta = 993 10/8 u/s saw twins!, 10/15 u/s heard heartbeats!, 10/29 u/s graduated to OB

MY RE gives the injection for 5 days during the end of my cycle after IUI..satrting on CD 25.Just wanted to know why this injection is given after the IUI During the end of the month.Is this for downregulating he next cycle
