Ok Im probably going to ask a stupid question, but i am hoping for some help here. Last two months the trigger shot that I have used is in a box that is just called HCG 10,000 units. This month I bought some meds from a friend that she had left over. I'm still going to use the follistim like I have been using, but she used the ovridel. Does this do the same thing? I just need some reassurance. I see that it comes in a prefilled syringe that can be injected subcutaneously which is good. Has anyone ever used it, and if so what did you think? The other shot I had to have my mom give it to me in my butt.

Jenn, I used ovidrel and it made me ovulate everytime. I beleive its the exact same thing as the HCG 10,000 but you should probably call fertility help lines to check it out. But yes it is a shot you can do in the fat in your belly and it hardly hurts.
