Bravelle/Repronex
Is anyone on this combo?
I just started it and I am extremely sore and have a bruise/lump at each injection site. I hope I am not doing something wrong.

Hi!
I've never used Bravelle, but I did use Repronex on this current cycle. I got a welt every single injection. The only thing that I found that helped was injecting slower. Luckily, my Repronex dose was lowered after a few days, so the welts were a little less severe and painful after that. I don't think you are doing anything wrong, these are just tough to take drugs. That’s what I used for my IVF, every injection site bruised after the injection. Helps you to remember where your last shot was.

Me 34 - PCOS DH 39 - Ct(110 ml), but still mot and morp issues  TTC 4+ years 2 year wait to see RE than RE takes 5 months off! 10/07-6/08- 6 rounds Clomid = BFN RE May 08 = waiting for DH appt. at to see if sperm will respond properly to “fallopian tube environment” – July 08 Passed! 5/08 Testing for Lymphoma- Negative!!! I just have Sarcoidosis. 8/08 Hysteroscopy and Lap removed polyp from uterus and adhesions to ovary and fallopian tubes, adhesions not previously diagnosed. IUI 1&2 -BFN On to IVF 1/09 1/26 - ER -22 eggs only 9 fertilized  1/31 - ET & 4 snow babys  2/6 HPT 2/10 Beta-256 2/12 Beta-568 3/2 First U/S - One Baby! 3 dogs & 3 cats

I'm on the same drugs, different brand. I assume you're using the right size needle (30something) but also, be sure not to push it in too fast. Slow and steady is the key, and try not to push into yourself when pushing the plunger down. I do both carefully and rarely bruise (unless I hit a blood vessel which hurts!)
LOL Helps you remember where your last injection was...ouch what a terrible reminder! I'd rather draw dots on my tummy with a sharpie LOL

I did Bravelle injections last month alone. I didn't have any bruising or anything...maybe it's the other. Good luck! I am currently waiting for AF on Sun or Mon. Maybe she won't show and it worked naturally
 . Gotta try to stay positive. However, if it didn't, then I'll start Bravelle injections next week if my u/s comes back all clear this time and that huge cyst is gone!!Good luck and sending wishes of comfort and not pain!
