First round of injectables
I've been TTC for almost a year now. I have done 3 rounds of clomid & found that I am clomid resistant. So my RE is starting me on injectables this month. I will be taking Femara & Gonal-F with 2 trigger shots. I was just wondering if anyone was on the same meds & got a
 the first round?

I was on very similar meds, and did get a BFP on the first try. We did Femara, Menopaur and Trigger. Currently 32 weeks with twins. Best of luck to you..it can work on the first try!

Thanks Makenalelu! I'm so nervous its not going to work because I had no luck with clomid. Its great to hear success stories from others, it gives me hope! Congradulations on your pregnancy! Hope all is going well!

Hi! I am on my second cycle with follistim. I know that some people do get pg on their first cycle of injectables, but it is not as common as the second or third. I had all my hopes set in last month and was pretty devestated when it didn't happen. My RE says its more likly to happen within 3. I hope it works for you in your 1st... I was not that lucky! I am CD 7 now... hopefully we both get BFP's this month!

- Mary ME: 38, no ovulation after being on the pill *forever*! DH: 33, perfectly fine - 2 cats and a 6 month old puppyinjectible therapy - 2 cycles; 2nd was a success! 7/4 - LMP 7/5-7/16: gonal F, luveris, antigon; 7/17 - ovidrel 2WW, started progesterone supps 7/31 - faint postive hpt! 8/2 - 2 more pos HPTs 8/3 - confirmed at the doctors! HCG 204! ; 8/5 - HCG 379; 8/7 - HCG 1105.2 8/20 - u/s, baby measuring fine, HB 115 8/27 - first OB appt! baby measures 7w3d (we are 7w5d) HB 124 9/18 - done with progesterone! 9/24 - OB & Perinatal appt - 1st trimester screening results all good! 10/1 - u/s follow up - baby is 6.13 cm and hb of 157 10/22 - 15w5d - OB appt: everything went well, HB 150, GTT & AFP results w/in normal limits 10/29 - 16w5d anatomy scan - all is well, and it's a BOY! His name will be Tyler John. 11/12 - daycare done! 11/14 - registries done! 11/19 - next OB appt due date: 4/10/2010

Wanted to also tell you I had no luck with Clomid either. I did 3 cycles and each one totally jacked up my cycle. Femara worked exactly as it should for me. Again, good luck! I'll be thinking of you!

I also took Femara for IUI for 3 cycles. Although I didnt get pg, it did its job stimulating my follicles. Im currently doing my first cycle of IVF. Good Luck to you!

there was 2 that they measured on my right & 1 on my left. & i am soo excited! we hope that it works the first time but at least if it doesn't we figured out the right combination of meds that worked
i'm it works the first time tho!

I just got my bfp on my first round of GONAL-F (150 for 9 days), ovidrel trigger.
I did 4 rounds of clomid (2 w/iui) and 1 round of Femara w/iui and those didn't work for me.

so i tested a day early & got a BFP!! i'm so excited! i hope its not a false positive but i only tested one day early so hopefully its not & we are expecting!!
 YAY!!
