I did an Ovidrel injection last week (cd12) after doing 4 days of Clomid (cd4-7). We were told to have sex that night. Then my husband had to come in that Friday for sperm testing. We haven't had any information from them since we left the office after the sample was taken last Friday.

We could really only have two rounds of sex since the office wanted him to abstain from intercourse 48 hours before the sample was to be obtained.

Does this make any sense? Sorry to be so dense but this is my first round of fertility treatment and I don't knwo what to expect (or ask)

Is it also ok to give the injection in your buttocks? I really balked about doing the abdominal injection and my Dr said buttocks would be "ok"

I don't know about the dtuff with you husband. We didn't have to worry about any of that because we had IUI, but if the dr said ok to shot in the butt, then it should be ok! You should try the belly though, that's where I've been giving myself my triggers, and it's nothing! I think it's easier if you're doing it yourself too, because you can see what you're doing better.
