A certain time of day to take Lupron
Good Morning girls!
I was wondering if any of you knew if there was a certain time of day that you should take Lupron?

Me - 31, Moderate Endo, hypothyroidism, T Shaped uterus DH - 31, low count, morphology abnormal, 4/06 removed one testicle due to non cancerous tumor06/07 [/size]HSG showed 1 Blocked tube & scare tissue 12/4 ER , 12/7 ET 12/16, 12/17, 12/18 HPT  12/19 Beta 1 - 135  Oh thank you God!!!8/21/08 DS Born!  9/10RE said my eggs are now aging faster then I am by 4 years. My clock is ticking faster October FET Cancelled due to low Thyroid levels and thin lining. November FET Cancelled, ovulated a week too early 12/16 ET12/26 Beta  1/3 RE said pending insurance approval ER/ET February 2/11 ER, 18 eggs, 14 mature, 13 to day5! 2/16 ET, 2 grade A, 6 frozen 2/21 - 2/25 all Positive HPT! 2/26 Beta 620!! BFP 2/28 Beta 1,550! 3/7 Beta 13,028 3/19 u/s 1 very healthy bean! 130bpm! Discharged to OB!! 3/28 1st OB appointment: very healthy 4/22 12 week u/s EDD: 11/4!

I have never taken Lupron, so I can't say for sure, but my RE always had me take my injectibles in the evening. We did this so that if I had an appt. during the day and they wanted to change my dosage, it could be changed ASAP. I hope that helps!

I have to take my Lupron between the hours of 7pm - 9pm. Best of Luck. If you are still uncertain I'd call the RE or the oncall nurse. Hugs!

My doctor told me to take it at the same time every evening - based on your convenience.

I take lupron twice a day.. 5 units each . I generally take them at 7 am and 7 pm,.. I think there is no specific time for that..

Heather,
When I was on Lupron my RE always had me take it in the evening (after 6pm) and always around the same time each day this way if you had blood work and they need to change your dosage you haven't taken your shot for the day yet. Best of luck to you.
