I have BCBSKC. I think I have the BlueCare plan. It has been covering 60% of my costs EXCLUDING artificial insemenation. So IUI and IVF are not covered but the cover my meds, ultrasounds, office visits etc. I hope this helps!

Unhappy Devestation!

I have BCBS TX. Back in July my RE called and verified fertility benifits and to my suprise they said they cover 100% after my deductible. So we started in January and a week before my ER the RE called again to doble check and low and behold all of a sudden i dont have that coverage. Turns out they pay everything up until a diagnosis is made then no iui or ivf is covered! I was stimulated and ready to retrieve and then got this bomb dropped on us! After scraping 7650 up we did or ivf. Got my on the 14th............. Very devestated at this time. Now to save again for years and try again. So beware when it comes to any insurance, you dont always talk to the right person when you call and get benefits!
