Ladies,
Please help! Who had experience dealing with Anthem (former Blue Cross)? I am in California, and have infertility coverage, but not for IVF. Yesterday I called Anthem to ask if they would cover the meds. They told NO. Then I read my policy and found out that they should cover some meds. I called them again and asked if they will cover some generic and I will pay the difference. I got somebody else on the phone and he told me that their system shows NO but this decision can be overwritten. What does it mean? Nobody seems to know anything specific there. How to proceed? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
