Gl Ellen!

GL to everyone, but especially Ellen since you're going for your IUI tomorrow!

Please check back in and let us know how it went, okay? I'm so curious!

Daniken, my dr. has suggested b2b IUI ever since I first started seeing him. He seems to think - and it makes sense to me - that the more swimmers that are close to the egg(s), the better!

Currently, it's CD7 for me. I'm going on Wed. for an u/s and follie check. Another menopur shot tonight and tomorrow. I sure hope it's working!!

daniken23: I asked my doc about b2b's and they said the research has shown no more success rate with b2b then with single iui's. They recommend only one, but if I want to do two, we can. It is more money out of pocket so they don't talk about it much. I think one reason, they said, is if there are sperm issues. We use donor sperm, and my counts for that are really good.

MiMa12: good luck!!

Rhonda: good luck!!

As for me... Today is cd10 and I am waiting for my e2 levels. I have the following follicles: 14.7, 10.9, 10.3, 11.8, 14.1, 11.7, 17.1, 8.3, 10.2, 9.5, 15.4, 11.6, 11.4. (There are 13 here but obviously the smaller ones won't make it) I am hoping that only 4-6 stay with us. Those 10's, 9 and 8 are unlikely. But man! When it rains it pours!!! So, please keep me in your thoughts that I have 4-6 follies and not more. If more I assume they will cancel. We have agreed to do 6, I had to sign something. This is the first cycle while TTC#2 that I have had more then one follie! When I got preg with DD I had 5 follies and only one stuck, so I am not overly concerned about multiples, but we will see!! I am ok with up to trips, after that I will freak out.

Ronda

Hey Ronda, thanks a lot. It went well. It didn't take that long. This is my 4th time so I am so used to the procedure. Its funny how I think that I'm making love with the syringe hahahaha.... I hope atleast one of them (sperm) was able to penetrate my egg. I'm officially in the dreaded 2ww wait. This is the time I get crazy with symptoms and all. I need to take it easy this time though (so I told myself). Good luck to you on Wed. Grow follies grow and keep us posted.

Is it possible that all the eggs can be on one side and the opposite side will drop? Or do the drugs we take control of that?

Good luck to everyone!!

Patti – thanks! I’ll be praying you have between 4 and 6 follies. I have a feeling you’re going to have 5 (like you did with your DD).
Ellen – Sorry about the 2WW! I haven’t had a 2WW after an IUI yet (since I’ve never had an IUI), but I can imagine it to be nerve-wracking! Let’s just hope this is the cycle you get !
Clocking away…it’s CD8 for me. I have an u/s in the morning. It’s the first time I’ll get to see how the meds and injectibles have been affecting my follies. I’m excited and nervous at the same time.
If it goes well, I should be on track to have my b2b IUI’s this weekend!
I’ll let you all know how it went.

toddsgirl and wanda thanks for the input!

ellen - so are your symptoms b/c of the hormones and the procedure? or more wishful thinking? - i'm only asking b/c i'm 5dpIUI and i feel bloated and a little crampy(not as bad as the first day) as well as my b's are sore!. i'm trying to be very "cool" about it, but it makes me wonder...like very 5 secs!...ha....this is horrible! i know there really isn't any symptoms much later on, but it just makes you go hmmm...

We are a go for Friday!! My e2 level was 595, perfect for 3-4 follies I will trigger with Ovidrel tonight so the follies have had more time to grow!! The 17 shuld be at least 21 tonight and the 15's should be at 18 or 19. The 14 at 17 or 18. So we are good to go!!! So excited! I really feel this is it!!! Test date for Beta will be on the 26th. I will start testing on the 24th. Late week test dates don't see as bad as early week.
