12dpiui - poas - . seeing bright red spots, usually have af after a couple of hrs after spots but have not as well as cramping....maybe it's the prometrium insert continued the prometrium insert just in case. going in for a consult tomarrow morning for ivf w/ another dr. b/c this insurance will cover 50%. hopefully i like him/her - may have to wait a another month...

Hi daniken...im sorry you're going through this but I hope things will turn out fine. I'll still go with my beta appt if i were you. A day or two makes a huge difference. You can have BFN today but have BFP tomorrow or even after a few days. I read a lot of articles about being pregnant while bleeding. We want to make sure if you are or not.

my thoughts will be with you. Keep us updated with you dr's meeting tom.

daniken, I have been lurking since my iui last Sat. I wanted to let you know that the nurse told me the progest. sups. can make you spot. Especially if you have bd lately. I would spot if I did anything really active when I was taking them. It was bright red. Good luck. I will be thinking of you.

wasn't sure where to post this but I have a ? we will be doing our first IUI this cycle the doc said we will do the IUI then we are to my question is has anyone use preseed after an IUI?? maybe it is a question for my doc but just wanted some input.

I used it last IUI. It worked (but pg later ended after a day)

So sorry daniken... Hopefully it is just "normal" spotting. I got that the two times I was pregnant before. I got it last month too oddly, but then AF came a few days later, though it was really bad and doc said I could have been pregnant, breifly... so, maybe that is a good sign for you and i will cross my fingers!!!

Thank goodness the nausea stopped for me! I have weird bathroom issues right now though, but not sure why. Timing isn't right for Prometrium to be the cause since it started before I gave myself my first dose. Boobs are sore, like last month, assuming that is from the hormones, that is what the nausea was from. I don't have my beta until the 26th... I will start testing at home on the 24th I think.

thank you gals for the support...was pretty sad yesterday, but i'm back to getting down to business, trying to make a baby!!!! it's time to move onto IVF. af is here, but not heavy as usualy. i defintely will posas tomarrow morning again...as for beta, i don't know if i should take.
anyhow my consult w/ the new RE went well, felt comfortable, or maybe i'm just eager to getthe ball going here. walked away w/ a tentative schedule in september for egg retrieval.
for those still on 2ww, good luck sprinkling . keeping my for eveyone. how is everyone else doing??? keep us updated!

Hi Everyone,
I'm not a part of this group, but I might be. My IVF was recently cancelled due to poor response to meds. I am toying with the idea of just doing another IUI. I've done 2 in the past and they were both successful. However, 1 miscarried and 1 was an ectopic. Has anyone here ever done an IUI after having an ectopic? My tubes are okay (one only slightly damaged). My RE seems to think it would be okay, but they would need to monitor me closely. DH is not liking the idea.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Chelle. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy. I didn't know that you can have poor body response with IVF's med. I'm marching towards IVF when this one fails. Good luck to you and hope to hear you're in 2ww soon. Keep us posted.

I'm at 10 dpiui as of today and my wedding anniversary too. Dh and I went out for a dinner date. On our way home, I felt light headed and started to gag. I think I ate too much.

I think I'm gonna jump the gun and join this thread...hopefully I'm not jinxing myself!

Doc called this afternoon and told me to take one more shot of Follistim (only 100IU this time, I've been doing 200), and come in tomorrow morning for an ultrasound. Hopefully I will get my trigger tomorrow and the IUI Monday afternoon.

This has got to be it, it has to be!! The tentative plans have been made for me to fly out and get my niece in a few weeks and keep her till my sister is well. She is battling an addiction right now, but the child (3 years old) should not suffer. I am so excited to have her!! But it would be a lot easier if I could get pregnant already and not have this to deal with too!
