CD 25, dpiui 12

This is it for me ladies! 2 more days before hpt test and beta the day after. I've been very patient about testing this cycle . I am not so sure what to think. I somehow enjoy this 2ww fantasizing being pregnant. I'll be devastated if I'd be for the 4th time. It would be nice to know before our 2 1/2 weeks of vacation though. So I'd know if I can be allowed to have some occasional cocktails Don't get me wrong, of course I would love to have a . I am trying to weight the pros and cons just to make myself feel better whatever the outcome would be.

Wish me luck!

Cheers!

Good luck girls!

I got my beta moved up to Friday (14dpiui) today from next monday... I disagree with them testing to late. But the reason behind it is because if I am going to get AF I want this to be over. We are not trying again, at least not any time soon. Something is wrong with me and I want to consult a different doctor within the same practice who has better bedside manor then my doc. I love the clinic. but not my doc and not my doc's nurse... love the other nurses.

Anyways... I got bad news today... my progesterone is only at 8, even though I am currently on 4 suppositories to help. I was only on 2 before injectables (2 months ago) and my progesterone was always above 15, like it should be on a medicated cycle. Last month it was 9 and because of that AF came 4 days early. I was devistated. So this month it is even lower and I expect AF either tomorrow or Wednesday. They siad it could be fine, not to worry. Riiiiiiight. When your issues is pregnancy supporting with progesterone and you don't have enough even with tons of progesterone, wouldn't you think that I would worry???? I feel sick to my stomach. Needless to say, if I start spotting and get neg come friday, I will at least be able to stop all of this crap for a bit. I am just so tired and broke. 7 months since seeing my RE in Januray and 6 failed cycles of IUI... I am just tired.

Now, if things go well and I get a positive I will be seeing a perinatologist to make sure we are doing what we can to KEEP me pregnant. I already had enough early losses to mess around!

Doc called this afternoon and told me to take one more shot of Follistim (only 100IU this time, I've been doing 200), and come in tomorrow morning for an ultrasound. Hopefully I will get my trigger tomorrow and the IUI Monday afternoon.

This has got to be it, it has to be!! The tentative plans have been made for me to fly out and get my niece in a few weeks and keep her till my sister is well. She is battling an addiction right now, but the child (3 years old) should not suffer. I am so excited to have her!! But it would be a lot easier if I could get pregnant already and not have this to deal with too!

Ok, so let's all git r done this month!!!

Ok, so I guess I did jump the gun. I went for an ultrasound yesterday, and good news/bad news. The good news is that there is a follie growing on my right side this month (the side that I actually have a tube on). The bad part is that it isn't ready yet, so I had to take Follistim yesterday and today, and I go for another ultrasound tomorrow. I am so worried because a few months ago, they kept me on FSH past day 14 (more like day 21!) and I ovulated on my own. RE's exact words: "Hopefully you guys got a "lucky" day in there a couple days ago!" Which of course we hadn't because I wanted to make sure I wasn't sore when the time came...I think I might have a slight sperm allergy, it only happens sometimes. If I ovulate on my own this month, there isn't a snowballs chance in hell I will get pregnant since I am relying on the IUI because DH is on deployment. Please cross all digits you are physically able to for me ladies...toes too!

Good luck fairedust!

Toddsgirl, sorry to hear that. I hope you find an RE and clinic you'd be comfortable with.

I tested again this am and its . No AF yet, I am not expecting it until Saturday though. I am kinda down but it will pass. I'm still going to do my beta tom. just to make sure before we leave on Thursday for a 20-day vacation. We need this break and it would be nice to see some relatives we haven't seen for awhile. I just hope they'd keep their mouth shut about us having a baby. Honestly, I wouldn't know how I would respond, not anymore

Hooray, I did it! I got my trigger and I'm now laying an egg like a chicken, woot!!! On the right side, finally! I am freakin ecstatic! Just gotta go pic up DH's popsicle tomorrow and git r done.

Just a little side note...I stopped and got a mani/pedi on the way home as a little treat. Now I understand there was a bit of a language barrier, but the lady said to me, "I remember you. You used to come in here, but you were skinny." Wow. Had to think about that for a sec, then replied, "Nope, I've always been this fat." Good grief, that would have been offensive either way!

How's everybody doing? Not a lot of activity on this thread, are you all on vacation? Check in July IUIs! Good luck to everyone!

Great Jess!! Good luck!

Elen, hoping it was just too early for you to test yet. I hope you get good news. Have a great time on your vacation... This sounds bad but you could shut your relatives up by responding in a snarky way... They ask "So, when are you guys going to have kids?" You respond "When are you going to quit smoking/lose weight/etc?" Or, "How do you know we haven't been trying for the last 5 years unsuccessfully and had our heart broken too many times to count? I am not saying that is or isn't the case, but please stop asking." I think there is a point, especially with relatives, to tell them that enough is enough and to stop asking. Good luck dear... I was where you are.

As for me, I am so tired all the time. I just want to sleep. I have been going to bed right after putting DD to bed at 8. I sleep through the night and want to nap when I get home from work. I can only hope this is preg symptom and not AF coming symptom. I am testing tomorrow morning... Keep your fingers crossed. I am just so nervous. No boobs hurting, a tiny bit of siatic pulsing... which I get from time to time, but could be unrelated. Just so hopeful.

Ellen, when people ask me why we haven't had children yet, I tell them, "We haven't figured out how to make them yet." I think it kind of throws them off guard...there's no easy response to that, unless they actually take you seriously and give you a birds and bees talk Sarcasm works well for me being from the east coast, but living on the west. I like Toddsgirl's suggestion too. I would take it a step further and ask "When are you going to stop being a nosey b*tch?", but that's just me.

OMG, I have SIX HOURS till my IUI, what the heck am I gonna do? Hmmmm, maybe I should finish packing in case escrow does close this weekend...

I AM GOING ABSOLUTELY NUTS!!!! I want this 2ww over now. I'm happy one minute, crying the next, and I couldn't tell anyone why I am crying. I am crampy off and on since my IUI and am sooooooo moody and crabby. I can't stand myself. It's like I'm just sitting here waiting for the time to go by. AHHHHHH!!!!
