4th IUI failed
Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat.
Has anyone had success with IUI's after repeated failures?

2001 Lap turns into loss of left ovary Diagnosed with stage 4 Endometriosis 2002 2nd Lap to clean Endo on remaining ovary 2003 Lupron to control Endo 2004  , we concieved on our own!!! Christmas Day 2004 BABY GIRL!  Nov 2005 started Lupron after 4 months of TTC May 2006 began TTC after Lupron 8 months of  Jan 2007 started clomid to prepare for 1st IUI Feb 2007 - June 2007 too many cysts on ovary to continue  Dec 2007 new doctor - began IUI's with clomid and ovidrel injection 1st IUI - 2nd IUI - 3rd IUI - June 2008 began IUI with injectibles 4th IUI (1st IUI w/ injectibles) - July 2008 - took a break this month, re suggests IVF, we aren't intersted, re suggests another IUI w/ injectibles for August 2008 August 2008 - huge cyst found, taking bc pills to reduce, try again in September :grrr September 2008 - cysts reduced, two mature follicles 5th IUI - 9/7/08

I am pregnant after 7 iui's. I definitely wanted to see more than one follicle after several tries and got it with femara and follistim (3 follicles). I was feeling pretty desperate there for quite awhile.

ttc #1 3rd iui using clomid was a charm! ds born 3/5/05 (8lbs 6 oz.) ttc #2 6 iui's with clomid iui #7 (2/1/08), femara coupled with follistim (3 follicles produced); hcg trigger; progesterone support starting 2dpiui 2/17/08 2/18/08 beta=544, p4=58 2/25/08 beta=7498 3/7/08 1st ultrasound; heart rate=147, measuring 7w1d 3/20/08 2nd ultrasound; HR=182; 9 weeks! 4/3/08 3rd ultrasound; HR=167; measuring 11 weeks 5 days! 4/10/08 no more progesterone...eek! 4/16/08 1st OB appointment; HR=152; all looks good!; 2nd 5/14/08; HR=150; Anatomy scan 6/9/08-IT'S A BOY!!!! 10/16/08-Sceduled c-section!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's here early!!!! 10/7/08 7lb. 1oz. 20 inches

Not me, but there are lots of on this forum who have. About a year ago, there was a girl who had something like 20 IUIs and finally got pregnant with twins!!

trust me, i know how frustrating and upsetting it is! I'm on IUI number 7 and hoping for the best. Personally this is the last round for me. With the $ we've spent and the emotional draining of it all we're stepping it up a notch next cycle and doing IVF if this doesn't work. From what I"ve read there are people who have had success after numerous IUIs, you just need to do what's right for you.

My dh and I had done IVF and FET, both unsuccessful. We went to IUI and finally got pregnant after never having a single positive for the 5 years we tried. It can happen. This cycle is IUI #5 for us. I feel that IVF is pointless for us since fertalization is not our issue, it is sticking that is our issue.
