Hi ladies, I'm having lots of cramping and i'm not sure if that is normal. I had my IUI's on 7/4 and 7/5 and the camping started last night and has not gone away yet. Its so bad that I had to stay home from work today. Did any of you experince this?

Are you on any progesterone suppositories? If so, that can tend to make you pretty crampy. I was told my the nurse that cramping was normal, but if it's so bad you can't get up and go to work, I would call the Dr.'s office. Hope this helps.

Hi there. Its normal to have some cramping after the IUI and the days after...but it definitely shouldn't be so bad as to be unbearable. If so, I would definitely call your dr.

Thank you Alisa and Lacey for your response. Yes I am on Progesterone. I did the first suppository last night. I'm 2 days post IUI. Its just so scary. It feels like ovulation pain but only much much worse. I will call my MD. Good luck to you ladies

I don't know what kind of progesterone you are one. But I was first on prometrium my first two cycles and had alot of cramping. They changed me to Endometrium and I'm getting along MUCH better. Hope you get to feeling better!

I think is the generic suppositories that the pharmacist mixed at the pharmacy. I'm all better now. Looks like it may have been a little over stimmulation is what they tell me. THanks for all the responses. You ladies are a great deal of help to a lot of people. Lots of very wonderful information here.
