Help - Did I screw up my IUI
I might just be going off and I hope I am wrong but…
I got a bfn on my hpt 13dpiui and had a very very light spotting. Well, I immediately gave up and stopped taking my prometrium that day. Now, I am bleeding up a storm (a lot more than usual). I am so scared that I may have been pg and now having an early mc. I had an hcg today and will find out tomorrow. This is the worst. How blasted ironic is this? I am hoping my hcg comes back negative…. Because if it is positive, then I will feel like I screwed it up big time… Word to the wise, never never give up until the BETA. I feel like a fool. This is posted elsewhere too, I just need some advice/comments...

I don't think that stopping the prometrium screwed things up. It likely just brought on AF.

No pregnancy 3rd IUI - Three's a Charm Sept. 3 - CD1 Sept. 5 - Start Follitism 75 mg. Sept. 17 - IUI - 1 ripe follie, 50 mil sperm/75% mot.

NotChicken - Any update?
I may postpone POAS until Aug. 1. Not sure. I feel nervous to do it tomorrow in case it is too soon.

I don't know how you hold out TeamH. I POAS to see what a positive looked like after the trigger. I POAS at 10 dpiui to 'make sure the trigger shot is out of my system' and will probably test tomorrow, friday and saturday. (unless i get a
 tomorrow) It's totally a mental game for me and I guess, I buy the cheapie internet tests so it doesn't cost much. anyways, I hope you get your  soon!! NotChicken, did you get your beta test?

Isn't this grand. The nurse at the RE's office said that sometimes you do not get AF when on progesterone, but should get it if you are not pregnant w/in a few days of stopping.
Great, I have been feeling like AF has been coming and hoping that her not coming was a good sign when in fact it may just be that the progesterone is keeping her at bay. I may test tomorrow. I just feel like I may be disappointed.

my last iui i was on prog. suppositories and didnt get af till like 1-2 1/2 weeks after my beta

IUI #1 4/8 - u/s everything looked good 4/10-14 - started 1st round of clomid 50 mgs (CD3-7) 4/18 - start opk (CD11) 4/20 - bw & us 3 follies (CD13) 4/21 - u/s and trigger shot woohoo! 4/22 - IUI at 9am.. start progesterone suppository 5/6 - beta BFN IUI #2 7/5 - AF showed! couldnt be happier!! 7/7 - u/s start clomid (CD 3) 7/17 - u/s 2 follies (CD 14) 7/19 - iui bad numbers 200k & 30% 8/1 - POAS - BFN *back to RE in Nov woot!!*  for my lil miracle baby

Mima - Did you have AF type symptoms around the time of your Beta?
My boobs are sore, and they don't usually get sore, but I think that is b/c of the progesterone and the Estradiol. How are you feeling?

Let us know how it goes.I had my second beta today, and it was 940. Yay! My first ultrasound is on August 21st, which, right now, seems SOOO far away. that the little bean decides to stick around and set up camp ;-)

HB = 176 9/4: 2nd ultrasound @ 9w - bean is still there! HB = 151. Graduated to OB! 9/11: 1st OB visit, heard the little one's heartbeat! 9/24: NT scan - the little bean waved at us! 11/13: Level II ultrasound - it's a BOY! EDD: April 9, 2009!

ok, I got my blood work back and it was 104 and my progest was over 40. I go back Friday for more blood work

Successful IUI w/ Follistim first time Jan. 2004 Had my boy Sept 2004! (he was one month early) Going for it again July 2008! Follistim 300 5,000 HCG 7/14/08 IUI 7/15 IUI 7/16 Prometrium twice a day (yack!) POAS 7/28 & 7/29 and got both days Bloodwork 7/30 Beta 104 Bloodwork 8/1 Beta 248 Bloodwork 8/7 Beta 2,248 Pg 228 u/s 8/14/08: one flickering heartbeat - so sweet! 8/14/08 Beta just over 13,000 progesturone dropped a bit but still in the 160's u/s 8/21 one baby confirmed  9/4 first ob/gyn appointment everything looks good! 9/25 last day for this icky prometrium! 10/21 amnio due to wonky nt results 10/22 amnio (fish results) came back, all is well!! It's a boy!! 10/24 regular appointment 11/20 level 2 ultrasound edd: 4/8/09 (it will be c-section due to past pregnancy, diabetes and high blood pressure)

she also said it's early in my cycle and that this is day 25...I feel kind of confused....is 104 a good #? she also said that anything above 25 is a positive.

:-) I, too, read that anything over 25 is positive, and that it's not so much how high the number is (everyone is different), but that it doubles every 48 hours. You should have a better idea after the next test. Congrats again! How unreal does it feel????!!!
