Unfortunately, I do not have any good news to report, plus a very stressful night.

I forgot to take my progesterone yesterday morning, and when I went home I found out my housekeeper had thrown it away when she was there on Tuesday. WTF!!! I was in a panic and worrying about if I was preg if the lack of progesterone would cause harm, so I POAS before I called my doctor. It was a . He told me that missing the progesterone would not cause harm and to POAS again and see what happens.

So I POAS this morning and it was . The nurse at the doctor's office says stop taking everything except for my metformin and wait for AF to come. Ugg.

I feel very down and depressed. I know this was our first IUI, but I still feel very sad. Had a good cry, and just have to keep trying and have faith that it will happen.

Get this, one of my good friends even gave me the "stop worrying about it and you'll get pregnant speech." That was not very helpful.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that, TeamH :-( I was really hoping you would get a positive. Ugh, I hate when people think they understand IF - I'm sure that if you just stopped worrying your DH's morphology issues would magically disappear. [/sarcasm] People are so clueless, and that's really not what you need at this point.

I'm thinking of you and wishing you all the best in the next cycle. It WILL happen for you, don't lose hope.

I'm sorry to hear the news TeamH, it's difficult when people who are your friends or loved ones are going to 'encourage you' or 'comfort you' with their great ideas. It's like honestly, do you really think that I wasn't relaxed the first year or two. Mostly they're usually trying to help but with little success. That's why my husband and I have chosen not to share our IF journey with anyone except a few very close friends.

TeamH, so sorry It's so stressful when friends/family know what you are going through then they say the weirdest stuff! Can't they just say, "Good Luck, I'm rooting and praying for you?" instead of, "just relax, drink alcohol and it will happen" ugh!

It will happen, don't give up!

Thanks everyone for your support. It helps. You girls know more than anyone else that it doesn't always take a drunken night of vacation sex to get pregnant. LOL.

I am just going to try and recharge myself and gear up for the next cycle.

Congrats to Jen, Spaitts and NotChicken for the BFP (sorry if I missed anyone else). Keep us posted.

As for those who have not been as fortunate, keep your chin up, I'll be around for next month's cycle. Hope AF comes soon. Now I am looking forward to seeing that b****.

Possible BFP

Hey everyone, I know I'm new to this thread, but after reading everyone's posts last night I just couldn't stand it. So I made my husband go with me to buy the AHP. I tried it this morning and it says I'm pregnant, but I'm so afraid it's a false positive. It has been 2 weeks to the day since my IUI. What is the likelihood that it is false vs positive? Is it just leftover HcG in my body? I was so expecting a negative that I'm not sure what to do with myself. I have to call my doctor to see if they can do the blood test today or if I have to wait til Monday (blehh!) Thank you!

how high was your hcg dose? 10,000 takes about 10 days to get out of system, 5,000 is 7 to 8 days.

good luck!

Hey gals.

Seems weird not to be in my 2ww anymore. Now just waiting for AF. I had terrible cramps last night that actually woke me out of my sleep, but still no AF.

Also, this is one of the worst PMS symptoms I have ever had. I just want to smush my dh b/c he is so buggin. I hate all these hormones, they are making me crazy. I am usually not this moody.

Hello Ladies.
I'm on day 13 post ovulation. I broke down today because I really really really thought I'd get good news. I haven't been spotting at all ( I usually spot for 3 or 4 days before AF) and my breasts/nipples do not hurt like usual before AF and no chocolate cravings etc.....I have had ovary pains, some cramping and a bit of bloating, dizzyness throughout the day and sooooo tired. All possible symptoms, things that I felt my last two BFP's. But low and behold, on 13 dpo! I have given up. I know I should have a by now. I was suppossed to go for my beta on Sunday but I know it will be pointless. I too am on progesterone and its driving me crazy! I know that is the route of all evil! I haven't spoken to my dh for 3 days and he's going away for 3 days tonight so that doesn't make things easier! I feel like !!!! Anyways, I am definetly down in the dumps. We are taking a break this month as we are leaving for Italy on Aug 9th and won't be able to be monitored. Not sure if I'm going back to all the poking and prodding and fertility drugs etc when we get back. It's frustrating after 2 years that nothing has happened. It's even more frustrating that after my laparoscopy in March that nothing positive has happened. Even though my specialist said things should improve after it.
Congrats to all that got their 's and I am for you all.

Sorry to hear Mima and Sammylena. I know how much it sucks.

AF started on Saturday, so I am CD3 today. I had my bloodwork and u/s today. U/s looked good, so just waiting on my bloodwork to see what type of meds I am going to take this cycle.

I feel more prepared for this IUI and a little more calm at the moment since I know what to expect. I am sure that when I get to my 2ww that I will be more stressed, but feeling ok so far.

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that arrived last Wednesday early while I was on vacation. A bit of a double whammy, but I tried to make the best of it and enjoyed my vacation. Because it came so early, I may have missed my opportunity this cycle, but I definitely would like a break off the meds.

Congrats to all the and keep positive thoughts for those with this cycle!
