Sorry to butt in ladies, but wanted to respond...
I had a very similar situation. I had a 4mm endo lining on cd12 with Clomid. My follies responded great, but endo and CM suffered dramatically.
I switched to injectibles and have BFP with twins (m/c @ 8 wks), BFN, BFP-Chemical, and in the 2WW of #4...
I don't typically give advice, but if it were me, I would personally skip Clomid altogether, as the endo and CM issues are common side effects of Clomid.
From your signature, your dh has great counts, so I think if you push a few good cycles to get 3 to 4 mature follies, trigger with hCG and a single IUI 24 to 36 hours post trigger it will be worth the expense in the long run.
That's where I would invest...
These are all personal opinions, and based on IUI success stats, so though it might initially appear more expensive, if you have to do fewer cycles, it might be more cost effective in the long run.

Thank so much!!!! your advice has come very handy, my DH and I want to finish this cycle without IUI, since I have taken the clomid and my insurance pays for everything as long as we don't do IUI, I didn't have fertil CM last cycle, so I don't think that I would have any sucess with this cycle either. We are going to move to injectables maybe next cycle if not in september cycle (should ovulate around my birthday) maybe we will have a great gift then. for a fo you too. My FMS is very hard at times specially in the 2ww since I can't have soft tissue massage and that whats give me some relieve. I don't want to take any pain meds until we are done with this fertility issue.

Well, now I am feeling paranoid! It seems like everybody I have read about is having ultrasounds to check follies after clomid/ before IUI. My RE isn't checking me at all. I took 50 mg. CD 3-7. I am just to do my OPK's and come right in to the office when I have a positive. Is this common? All of my testing has checked out fine, so far. Our issue has been with DH all along. This will be our first IUI with donor and my first time taking Clomid.

Hi bufton, I had gotten u/s because I don't get positive opk's by cd16, so they have to check and make sure that I have follies and if they are mature enough they will give me the trigger shot and the iui time to come in. If you don't get a positive opk by the last day they told you to check then call them asap for u/s. Then they will tell you the next step. Hope this info helps GL to you this cycle

I had My second IUI today. I am kind of scared that it happend to soon. I took my HCG shot @ 11:40 last night and then did iui at 11:45 this morning. Thats just 12 hours last month I did it 36 hours after. When They asked if I took opk this morning I told them yes. Then they ask if I took my Hcg sunday . I told the nurse That I was told to do it last night. They went ahead with the iui and now I guess I am Thinking the worst. Which I always do. I guess only time will tell. But Anyways Best of luck to all!!!

Bufton...when I did IUIs with no clomid they didn't do an US but that was with a OBGYN...I kinda wished they did...those OPK may not always work. All the money I spent just kills me...and to think the us could have better told me when to get the IUI. Good luck and. Trust your gut!

I am still waiting on a positive OPK change. Hopefully it will come before Friday. The DH are going out of town this weekend for my SIL's baby shower. I just can't wait for all of the questions!! Keep me in your prayers. His family can be brutal. His mawmaw asked for a picture of our dog to put on the Grandkids pics since we don't have any children. Anyway, wishing and for our group this time.

Good luck Amy, I have my share of crazy inlaws and might have to go see some this weekend. She supposedly did IUI/IVF (not sure which) in order to have her baby but she is the still the most insensitive too. So I'll send you positive vibes to make it through if you send them back when you are finished!
