Anyone doing them back to back?

The lady at the front desk at my Re office told me she did them Back to back and she got preggers...so Im going with that! The last group I was in with we had about a 30% success rate...hoping for 100%. I just said a prayer for all of us! I hope God heard me.

I had my us today 23,16,12 and 10 on the follies...not sure what we will do...just waiting to hear from Dr. on blood results.

Alisa...did they have you trigger Ovidrel the same day you had the us to show the 3 follies (12, 12.5, 14)???

yup. I had the BW/US that morning and got the word to trigger that night. I know my dr doesn't like the follies too big, he is happy with the sizes as he says with my age (he says I'm young, woohoo!) and being healthy he doesn't want too many and wants to control for multiple births. I snuck a peak at my chart and I think my E level was over 200, closer to 300 (couldnt see exactly, trying to read upside down!) which I think played a big part too.

Just got back from my IUI...another one tomorrow.

they said my estrogen level was over 1,300...last month it was closer to 600...what does the E level really mean? thsi is the first month they even told me my level.

Same here - some nurses tell me, others don't. And this last time I was doing the upside down reading thing!

From what I've been able to piece together - and for a normally intelligent woman, this IF stuff makes me feel like a big dum-dum - as follies mature (and get ready to release?) they give off Estrogen or whatever E stands for...so it stands to reason that a higher lever indicates more mature follies not just size (so I guess its true - size doesn't always matter! LOL!) and obviously the more follies you have the higher your E level....so thats why they trigger when your leves reach a certain level since it means they are ready. So when you trigger, they release and are mature enough to be able to sustain fertilization.

I could totally be making that up but thats what I've been going with! If anyone else can add or correct, please do!!

Hello,

My Dr. has scheduled IUI on Tuesday. I am very nervous. I have one ovary. 4 follie are growing. It looks like 2 are of a good size. I also have PCO. I am just that all goes well.

I see so many woman at the clinic. Today I counted 15 women. I could not help but feel sad that there are so many of us out there that are loking to be fulfilled or complete.

I silently prayed for all those ladies hoping that I would receive some mercy too.

I got my trigger shot today. IUI tomoro evening. I am getting the gitters. This is my first IUI. Initialy I thought I was not responding to the medication. Then the doc ask me to wait and relax. RELAX!! How!! I wanted to scream but she was right. My follie measure 21.9, 19 and 17. Hope they behave tomoro and let me be their mommy soon. My endo is 12.7. I am on CD 17.

Thank u for u support. I need woman around me who can understand. My husband is not very supportive. Thinks this is all a waste of money. But i am holding on and hoping that God proves him wrong. Oh dont get him wrong he wants the babies as bad as me but somehow he feels I am not doing all I can to ensure it. Lately I have began to believe maybe he wished he married someone who didnot have these problems.

I believe life tests us for a reason.

Well ladies I am officially out this cycle, my us showed the lining at 5mm and I cancelled the IUI we are also going to avoid BDing since you usually get when you don't want to. The pregnancy that I lost my lining was at 5mm and I really don't want to loose another one. I have 3 follies again 1-20, 2-21 and is a bummer to loose them but I have waited to long and one more cycle is not so bad. has enybody being in a similar sittuation? am I not thinking straight? What do you guys think? I need some support please. GL to eveybody else
