Hi, I'm Melissa, ... new to the board. I'm 35, hub and I are TTC #2. Mia is 2 and was conceived naturally. We've been TTC since my periods returned after BF.

This is my first cycle on clomid and I'll do IUI this week if all looks good. Since I'm not seeing a RE (only my OB/GYN at this point), I was unable to have a study done this weekend and I'm quite nervous that we've missed our opportunity. Could you share what your follicle studies were like.
Here are mine:
Day 10: 11mm
Day 12: 14mm
Day 14: 16 mm
Tomorrow will be day 17.... yes, I'm a late ovulator... but I'm afraid when I go tomorrow morning, the follicle will have already released. By our calculations, the follicle could be 19-22mm or have already popped. If it has popped, IUI is tomorrow afternoon. My temp was up today, but I also didn't have a full night's sleep, which I know can contribuite to higher temp. But, if I did O today, then tomorrow afternoon will be too late. UGH!!! If the follicle is still in tact, my understanding is I'll do hCG shot tomorrow night and IUI on Wednesday morning.

What size was your follicle when your doc asked you to take the hCG trigger shot?

My experience with THIS ovary is that I usually O on day 19, so hopefully that will still be the case. And, the good news is that this ovary is the one from which my daughter was conceived.

I had my iui on day 12.had 2 follicles.18.5mm and 19mm on day 10 .I had my trigger shot on day 10 and had my iui on day 12 afternoon
On day 12 morning i had cramps and it my RE scheduled my IUI after 48 hours after the trigger shot and i am sure that i have already ovulated on day 12 morning itslef before my iui.But i dont think that IUI after ovulation can affect the fertilisation coz the eggs will be having 24 hours life.so IUI after ovulation also can fertilise the eggs.Dont worry.Will pray for a BFP

Hi Melissa! I'm in the same boat as you. Have one wonderful son who was conceived naturally in our 1st month of trying. Of course, now I can't get knocked up and its been over 2 years! Go figure.

You can see my sig for 3 months of IUI history with folly sizes. I know my dr doesn't want them too big or too many for multiple births. So...I've had my trigger all over the place...it depends on my Estrogen levels.
