Hi ladies,

I guess I'm a little bummed. I took a HPT this afternoon, 12dpiui, and it was a . Is it truly possible that I tested too early? I don't feel different so I'm wondering if I just need to face the fact that I'm not preggers. I don't want to be naive or give myself false hope.

I had planned to take another HPT on Friday which would be 14dpiui for me and then my beta is on Monday the 4th.

I'm just wondering what you ladies think?

When I was preggers with my first...af just passed by like the wind...no fat feeling no nothing...weeks later the prego stuff kicked in. Everyone is different! Good luck! by week 12 I felt fat . belly felt like jelly.

Thanks Ann! I'm really trying not to stress, but I guess it's just a little harder than I thought it would be. The good news is, I'm going to be busy for the next couple of days. Hopefully, that will make time pass quickly.

There are several ladies on the BFP thread that got a negative on 12 dpiui and a positive later. It isn't over until shows.

Sorry about your bfn. I just went through the same thing, tested 12 dpiui and it was neg. So I know how you feel. don't lose hope though, everyone really is different and you never know!

good luck to you...someone said to me the other day: It's not over until AF shows up!

It could be too early. Or you could be one of those women who don't get positive HPTs even though you're pregnant. There was a lady who got her BFP recently with a very nice first beta and a negative HPT the same morning. Like Skittles said, it's not over til AF shows up. Good luck!

Thanks ladies! I appreciate it, more than you know. It does look like is trying to rear her ugly head though. I'm trying not to be sad, but it's hard. I know you all know what I mean.

I'd say it is too early and that you should use first morning urine if you are going to test earlier than 15dpiui.

Its could be to early, I have seen everything on these threads. woman testing morning of beta and it being neg. then there betas come back pos.
So your not out yet. keepin you in my prayers for the BFP...

I am 12 dpiui today and I have been testing since 9 dpiui all :bfn: I really hope it changes to a positive over the next day or so. Is it possible for that to happen? I would think that by now I would get some sort of a positive if I were pregnant. Anyone?

I also got a BFN today, 12 dp ovulation. I spoke to my RE because I wanted to stop the progesterone and she said not to trust results until day 14, so in theory there is still hope... but I'm not feeling it today.

My question for you all is, should I go to the beta on Monday even if AF does show up?

Hi Rhonda,

If AF shows before you're beta I'd save your $$ and not go. My clinic told me if I don't have a +hpt by day 14 not to bother w/ a beta.

Thanks Krista, I'm taking your advice. AF is here, it's just very light. Also, I took my last HPT today (14dpiui) and it was another BFN.

I called my regular doc and asked to be put back on BCP. It's been over two years that DH and I have been TTC. I'm done for a while. I've come to grips with it and I've stopped crying about it.

It must obviously just NOT be the right time for us. I think we'll get our IF bills paid down or off and maybe try again in the future.
