Hi Everyone
AF arrived on 31/7/08.Starting my second IUI.
Going for first sonography on 2/08/08 and starting Clomid 100 mg.
I have a small doubt which I hope u can give me an answer.In my last cycle I produced only 2eggs after taking 100 mg clomid tablets.I saw in this site many of u ladies are producing more than 6-12 eggs in your cyle.How does this happen any increase in clomid dosage or just naturally?Juts curious to know

From all I know 2 follies that are mature on any dose of clomid is GREAT!! I think a lot of time you are lucky to have one really nice one. I think most of the girls on here talking about having 7 or 8 follies were using injectables like Gonal F or menapur. I did clomid 6 times and only once did I get 2 nice looking follies. However on Gonal F I have gotten 5. Best of luck to you!

On my cycles of clomid..the first month I had 2 mature follies. The other cycles, I would always have just one dominate mature follie and a few smaller ones. Two is great! A bigger dose of clomid will not always make more eggs. Best of luck!

My first Clomid IUI I had 5 follies, but I'm not sure how many of them were "mature". My second round I had 2 good follies, and a cyst.
I'll start again as soon as AF rears here ugly head.

The ladies are right. Doctors typically are shooting for 2-3 eggs with clomid. You really don't want to push it much further and taking more clomid will not increase egg production. I moved to femara and follistim after clomid was only producing one egg for several cycles. I figured that I already produce one egg per month anyway so what was the point of taking it and getting only one egg? I got 3 follicles with the femara and follistim. The doctor was very concerned about multiples at that point.
