Hello Everyone,

My first IUI failed last month, in fact I got my period exactly 2 weeks after the trigger shot so basically I had my AF after 3 weeks. I didn't proceed w/ a 2nd IUI this month because of a cyst. This Thursday (14th) will be 4 weeks since I got my period. My DH and I didn't (but sort of) try this month. Should I still wait to test until the entire 4 weeks passes? again, my cycle was only 3 weeks last month (but I was on injectables and whatnot), so theoretically I could be late (wishful thinking).

I am probably talking/thinking nonsense but I just don't want to get my hopes up. And, I don't have a single symptom of AF or anything which is very unusual for me. I often have spotting that starts about 4-5 days before AF arrives.

I always had shorter cycles when I did IUI's w/injectables. It was because the meds made me ovualte better and faster. So you were right on with your period being 2 weeks after trigger. I assume that your not late (sorry) if this was a break cycle because you would be ovulating on your regular schedule. I say POAS with first response and if it is negative try again if you dont get AF. You never know, ladies around here are known for getting pregnant on break cycles .

I agree with Mia, you should poas on thursday, if you get a BFN and AF doesn't show you can test again 2 days later.

I had a cancelled cycle last time. I took all of my chlomid and gonal F. On the day I was going to trigger they found a cyst and cancelled it. I had a 40 day cycle that month. I didn't know what was going on. I finally did start AF....but you never know anything is possible.
