IUI today!
Morning ladies...going in at 3pm for my trigger shot and IUI!!!
Katkat, all of my previous IUI cycles (I've done 4), I have been triggered the day before my first IUI. This time, I'm being triggered on the same day as my IUI. I'm kind of nervous about it, because I know I'm not going to ovulate until 24-36 hours later, but I'm hoping that the swimmers will still be hanging around to get to the egg the next day, since I heard they can live for up to 72 hours in the cervix. We are also doing back to back IUI's so I'll get another one on Friday, just to cover the window for ovulation. In all of my past IUI's, I used to wonder if I ovulated sooner than the IUI and maybe that's why it didn't work? My RE doesn't do an ultrasound before the IUI, although I see lots of people on the boards do get another ultrasound to see if their follicles collapsed. I'm excited for everyone...I'll be praying for you all to get your

Hey ladies, how is everyone? I just want to wish all the ladies having iui done today GOOD LUCK and I am
 for all of you. HeatherH- yes, please let me know how it goes. Tracyb- i am so glad we are on the same cycle  As for me, 2 dpiui my cramping has quit for now June 10-13 AF June 12 started Femara 5mg day 3-7 June 14 started Menopur 1 and 1/2 vials a night June 14-21 on Menopur June 20 used Ganerelix June 22 went for folly check--had 1 on the right at 22mm(  ) had bw and u/sJune 22 nurse called back i am ovulating on my on so i will do iui tom. June 23 iui #2 at 10 am dh count was 7 mil after wash  June 23 dh and i will do the  lolJune 24 1dpiui and cramping June 25 2dpiui and cramping has stopped..... JUST PRAY FOR EACH OTHER LADIES....... Hey everyone! Not much to report - just takin the ole drugs - but not feelin too much twinges this cycle (body possibly getting used to the drugs!) Wow, I'm a professional at injections now!! At first I could'nt look when my DH did it and now I'm doing it like a pro! Keeping fingers and toes crossed for everyone who got their IUI's done the past couple of days! Also to KatieP and Starfsh - think we're doing U/s the same day - tomorrw - so here's hoping all is grand! Otherwise feel in really good form - been walking a lot after work and relieving stress. I am feeling a little obsessed with pregnancy - so I'm trying to "step away from the pregnancy" and just be COOL!!! Hard when you're pumpin your body full of drugs. Anyhow...good vibes to everyone - what struck me just there - is that imagine - life is beginning now as we type here on the thread - with some of the IUI's (maybe all of them!!!)

IUI and New "IF NEWS"
IUI this morning -- hurt more than last time. DH's total motile sperm was 6 million
 . Last time was 11.5 million total motile sperm. RE is now curious (his word choice) if DH has anti-bodies killing his sperm. So, we are staying positive that this IUI will result in but if not, next step is for DH goes through more testing.I admit that I cried in the doctor's office because DH's last 2 SAs reported "normal" numbers ???? I am so confused right now. We have been dealing with IF for 4 years. Maybe we will now have an answer to the "unexplained" part. Also, I went to work, pretending to work and looked at all the success stories on this forum with IUI and sperm <10 million. That turned my frown upside down!! To ALL!!!My advice after today . . . research the heck out of everything and ask a million questions!!

3/22/09 Began 100 mg Clomid 3/31 Follies checked. 4/4/09 1st IUI 24 million 1 folical 4/20/09 ,but level 43 need to redo test in two days.4/22/09 levels went up still low 4/24/09 Levels dropped Chemical pregnancy4/29/09 Clomid 100mg 5/8/09 follicle check 4 folicals (9,9,10,11)gave me a shot to help them mature 5/12 follicles checked 2 good ones (17.8 and 21) 5/14 IUI #2 42 million 2 good folicals 5/29 beta came back 35 which is low, but still a 6/3 beta 42 they said its another chemical prganacy. 6/15/09 u/s to check cyst, Begin clomid 100mg 6/22/09 u/s follicle check 24, 20, 18 6/23/09 IUI#3 14 million swimmers 7/6 beta 7/16 brevelle shot 7/20 follie check only one 22 7/21 IUI #4 50 millions swimmers 1 good follie 8/5 Beta 2 8/7 baseline ultrasound 8/21 IUI #5 40 mil 1 good follie. 9/4 9/11 HSG #2 tubes look good scar tissue on cervix

Hello girls,
Well I took my fourth injection tonight. The bloating is starting to get worse and I can't image what I will look like in another few days. I'm so excited because I have my first u/s tomorrow morning. I am a little nervous though because I didn't respond well last time. I will not accept anything but good news and thats that. Katiep and cherrygoround- good luck with your u/s tomorrow too. I'll be thinking of your guys and can't wait to hear how you make out. Lots of perfect follies! Hope everyone else is doing well. This is becoming quite a busy thread. We're going to set a record with the number of !Kelly

hey starfsh, katieP hope the u/s go well! However I noticed last month,that folicle size is not always that important...so lets not get caught up in it. Keep positive no matter what! I feel much better on the meds this month - not as many twinges. body must be used to the injections now. This is not half bad (although my stomach does look PREGGERS! or that I like to drink a lot of beer hehehe...and I've not touched alcohol in 5 months)....

I don't feel anything.. I did feel a few twinges on my 2nd day of injections but other than that.. nothing.. and that concerns me.. I don't have any bloating or anything. I guess we will see if I am responding this morning. GROW FOLLIES GROW!!!  Good morning and Happy Friday to everyone I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!!

Good morning everyone!!
Good luck Cherrygo and Starfsh Kelly!! Ruthlus- I am that you iui works this time!!! Here are lots and lots of I am going today too for u/s and bw. I am hoping I am all set to trigger tonight. My DH has a business trip and he is leaving tomorrow and won't be back until tues!! If we can't trigger I NEED to not NOT OVULATE until Tuesday!! I am so nervous and worried. The timing couldn't be worse and he can't get out of the trip. Plus, even if we do the iui tomorrow there will be no follow up bd. It seems that this cycle is doomed, even though we had the good news of 2 follies this month. Sorry to be a downer.

Just got back from my u/s. I only had one follie on the right side that was 9mm and three tiny on the other side. I did however have a nice 25mm cyst on my left ovary. RE says I am not responding well again so she added another vial of Menopur to the 450 ius of gonal-f. I go back Monday to see if it did anything. I am so frustrated right now.

I am set to have my IUI around July 2... Not sure yet since I have been a slow responder. SOOOO I am taking 300 of Follistim. I got prego on 150 of it two cycles ago. I am very hopeful this cycle will work since our medicine lifetime max has been met! So we were less then pleased about that! We do still have lots left for fertility services. So we are hopeful that something will work out!
