I just had my first IUI!
Sperm concentration was 138.8 million and motility 85% (post wash). Is this good? I feel a little crampy now, but everything else is ok.  Now I am oficialy in my 2ww

Hey ladies, just checking in on all of you.
KatKat- yes, that is great is that after wash? Katiep- I am sorry to hear that, but we will  that everthing works out for you this month.as for me it is 3 dpiui June 10-13 AF June 12 started Femara 5mg day 3-7 June 14 started Menopur 1 and 1/2 vials a night June 14-21 on Menopur June 20 used Ganerelix June 22 went for folly check--had 1 on the right at 22mm(  ) had bw and u/sJune 22 nurse called back i am ovulating on my on so i will do iui tom. June 23 iui #2 at 10 am dh count was 7 mil after wash June 23 dh and i will do the  lolJune 24 1dpiui and cramping June 25 2dpiui and cramping has stopped..... June 26 3dpiui and doing fine JUST PRAY FOR EACH OTHER LADIES.......

thought for the day
Had my u/s and all is looking okay. Fingers crossed. So I know KatieP you may have to hold out on this one. But here's something I came across from Louise Hay.
"The thoughts we think and the words we speak create our experiences." She also says "if we are willing to do the mental work, almost anything can be healed". So let's think positive. Lets not think that we are out. Lets smile and enjoy being alive on this friday evening with the weekend stretching out ahead of us. Lets be thankful we have our health and loving men/women in our lives. Lets love ourselves and tell ourselves how fantastic we are going through this. Pat ourselves on the back. Say I love you to you. And most of all, just breathe and enjoy the life we have been given and think of the new life we are going to create soon. That should make us all smile and be thankful. Katiep- so sorry to hear about the u/s. Hopefully you will get some good news and be able to continue with your cycle. This is my last chance too. No need to keep taking the time from work and spending the money if I don't respond. I will be crossing my fingers for you today.
It stinks when our DH don't understand sometimes but know you have ladies to talk to on here that do. Kelly

Hi ladies,
Katie and starfsh, I'm so sorry to hear your news. I'll be praying for you both. As for me, IUI #1 yesterday went well. BF had 30 million post-wash, which is up from last time. I told him to eat almonds and he was downing them like a champ for the past 3 days so I think they worked! Going in for #2 today. Katkat, those are excellent numbers! Super high. Happy Friday everyone.

thanks ladies for the support you are all so wonderful.. Cherrygoround.. that did make me smile.. Thank You...
I got the call back from the nurse my Estridol (sp) was at 321 so the doc said he was going to ignore the cyst for now and for me to do 100iu of Follistim for the next 3 days and come back Monday morning for another u/s. I am a little relieved that they are not saying "I AM OUT" but a bit nervous about O'g on my own.. so I am going to get an OPK this afternoon and use it this weekend to make sure.. and bd if I feel like I may O... what do you all think about that? And does anyone know what an Estridol count of 321 on CD12 means? I am gonna google it but thought I would ask the real experts. Thanks again for the support and prayers, I still need them though.. Starfsh Kelly... I think you are right about the DH's and I do feel the love and support from you guys and that helps tremendously.

starfish- sorry to hear about the cyst. as for me i am on day 3 of the 2ww and have some crampiness again. hope it is not bad

3/22/09 Began 100 mg Clomid 3/31 Follies checked. 4/4/09 1st IUI 24 million 1 folical 4/20/09 ,but level 43 need to redo test in two days.4/22/09 levels went up still low 4/24/09 Levels dropped Chemical pregnancy4/29/09 Clomid 100mg 5/8/09 follicle check 4 folicals (9,9,10,11)gave me a shot to help them mature 5/12 follicles checked 2 good ones (17.8 and 21) 5/14 IUI #2 42 million 2 good folicals 5/29 beta came back 35 which is low, but still a 6/3 beta 42 they said its another chemical prganacy. 6/15/09 u/s to check cyst, Begin clomid 100mg 6/22/09 u/s follicle check 24, 20, 18 6/23/09 IUI#3 14 million swimmers 7/6 beta 7/16 brevelle shot 7/20 follie check only one 22 7/21 IUI #4 50 millions swimmers 1 good follie 8/5 Beta 2 8/7 baseline ultrasound 8/21 IUI #5 40 mil 1 good follie. 9/4 9/11 HSG #2 tubes look good scar tissue on cervix

we can do it... just like Cherrygoround says.. think positive and positive things will happen... or something to that affect... I am going to try my best to stay positive this weekend and trust that Monday will bring better news.

Hey girls
Found these useful tonight.... Louise Hay states that affirmations can heal our female bodies and help them work better. I like these ones: I rejoice in my femaleness I love being a woman I love my body. I am healthy, hole and complete. These thoughts will create better functioning female organs. Say it before you go to bed. Say it when you have doubts. Hello all of you wonderful ladies! I just took a 1/2 hour reading all the posts since my last post. There has been a lot going on the last couple of days. I have been trying to relax this time a little more than the previous cycles and trying to forget about it. Easier said than done. I met with the IVF coordinator today to go over the whole process (if needed). WOW...it's kinds scary. Well I just hope this IUI is the ticket for me and I won't need the IVF but I am thankful for the science if needed.
cherrygoround- I absolutely adore your positive attitude. I am a believer in The Secret and a lot of the vibes you send remind me of it. Very comforting to read your positive ideas. Thanks for sharing. jessicagtalley & smott- I hope you are doing as well as I am so far. Every day we get a little closer. Katiep and starfsh25, I am sorry about the difficulties you are facing with your cycles. I hope everything will be alright for you both. Good luck on Monday. To everyone I didn't mention, I wish you the best. I am going to try and not wait so long to post again. It's hard to mention everyone. I keep praying for us all to have !!!!!! hi traceyP believe me I struggle with negative thoughts too everyday - but I stop them in their tracks as soon as they come in! I've read a lot of books about positive thinking and about how it can enhance your life and your body. So I know when I think positive - lots of positive things happen - like meeting my DH! So the proof is there it does work. Meant to say went for a session with acupuncture yesterday. Girls you should go I feel so relaxed this weekend I'm finding it hard to get out of bed!! Whilst I was there the acupuncturist had on this CD and I asked him what it was - it was the Journey to the Temple - now this stuff gets you asleep!! I actually snored...and woke myself up with the noise. Im going in for a acupuncture session on before IUI and after....as you really feel so chilled out...I'm finding it hard to do my house cleaning today!!
I just hope that we all can help each other think positively - its like a house with really good foundations and each of us contribute to that here. Okay....too deep for the afternoon...Im off for a peppermint tea!! Cheers! Cherrygo ox

HAPPY SATURDAY EVERYONE! It is a beautiful day here in Grand Rapids, Michigan USA!! I am on my way to my best friends' daughter's first birthday. I always love being around babies during my 2ww because I think it helps with the positive thinking for me. Yesterday in line at the store there was the tiniest little newborn in the shopping cart in front of me. He was so precious. I can't wait to be a mom some day. I hope all of us will have our baby dream come true very very soon.
