Hi ladies!
Hope you are all doing well!!  I went for my 2nd u/s on Sunday (CD14) and my follies did not grow much since Friday so based on my blood work and u/s they told me to come back on Friday?!?!?! That would be CD 18 for me! Not to mention, my b-day. I am so worried and confused. I trust my doctor completely - he is one of the top doctors in NYC but did anyone ever hear of this? I am so sick of this waiting game - I hope I can make it through this. Thanks ladies!  for all of us!

Madeese, I hope everything will be okay with your follies. How have your last IUI's gone? Were they late bloomers as well? Aren't you on different meds this time that could maybe be the issue? I will
and for you that it's still gonna work for you!starfsh25, WOW you have quite a few follies in there. They just have to grow a little bit bigger and you will be good to go. I don't know why the one size 9 follie isn't budging lately but maybe it's just not a fast grower like the others. I do know that some follies never grow to maturity though. tucansam, Good luck tomorrow with your IUI!! I don't blame you for being bummed out about waiting another week. Try and trust your doc but if you are apprehensive, call the office and tell them you want to make sure you understood correctly because a week seems like a long time to go unmonitored. Wouldn't hurt to ask. How big were your follies? I seems like all we do is wait doesn't it? Please feel free to vent my way if you need to. Katiep- so sorry that you didn't get better news. I would think one big one would be good for IUI. I've read about lots of women on here that had success with one big follie. Please try not to get discouraged. I have been a lot this cycle and the kind words you ladies give me have kept me going so I am passing on the positive vibes to you. Good luck with the b/w results today and let us know how they go! Hope I'm not too late
For the most part, I have been keeping up with this thread but forgot to join. Do you still have room for one more?
We had our third IUI on June 24th. This will be our last IUI for a couple of months. My husband's mom was just diagnosed with breast cancer and we will be helping her during chemo. Emotionally, we could not take another "no" while going through this with her. Last month I joined my first forum but felt like I consumed with our 2ww. I came back because there is no other support than from those who are going through the same process. Our doctor was super excited with our counts this time and kept saying "I have a good feeling about this one". We are trying to stay so positive this time around and keep upbeat.

Hi KatieP keeping my fingers and toes crossed for ya! Madeese - I think your dr sounds like he knows what he is doing - at least he is being careful and wants to give you the best chance of success. Starfsh - sounds good - you have lots of them and they are all growing wow! Tucansam I was supposed to be on your schedule and now I'm on Wed - Hope the IUI goes really well with lots of Olympic Swimming spermies! Babycakes - all sounds good _ have a feeling its going to happen for you soon! Smott hope you are okay as you said you didn't have too many positive things going on? Help to talk about it? IrishKelly you and I have a lot in common (being IRISH!! - keep the faith - the fighting Irish!) what part are you from?
TraceyB and Jessicagtalley hope you are feeling relaxed. And of course to everyone, if I missed you - sorry, keeping it all crossed for ya! So, went in for TV scan today, had trainee nurse and wow was it sore when she pressed that Scanner on my cervix - I popped with the pain. Anyhow, it all took way longer than usual as she had to be taught how to measure the follicles... I'm sitting there trying to look dignified, legs in the air and on the stirrups, whilst the two ladies discuss follie size and how to measure - as if I'm not even in the room. Turned out the trainee nurse was pretty sharp she noticed I'd put my shirt on inside out this morning! Guess I'm pretty preoccupied. You gotta love the humour of it all! So I'm booked in for Wednesday afternoon for my IUI. I'm taking the day off so I can relax. Rushing from work with work items stuck in your head is not ideal or stress relieving. I am doing some acupuncture this cycle as it does make you feel more positive and chilled. Meant to say had a fab weekend - romantic and lots of teenage kisses. On Sat we had a BBQ just the two of us, Sunday we went out to a funfair and I think I need more weekends like this - lots of passion and teenage kisses and groping hands. hehehe...Wicked. Lets make FUN our theme for the next few days. Cherrygo!

Hello Ladies, sounds like we have alot of good things going on this month. I want everyone to know i am praying for yall.
this is my 6 dpiui June 10-13 AF June 12 started Femara 5mg day 3-7 June 14 started Menopur 1 and 1/2 vials a night June 14-21 on Menopur June 20 used Ganerelix June 22 went for folly check--had 1 on the right at 22mm( ) had bw and u/sJune 22 nurse called back i am ovulating on my on so i will do iui tom. June 23 iui #2 at 10 am dh count was 7 mil after wash June 23 dh and i will do the lolJune 24 1dpiui and cramping June 25 2dpiui and cramping has stopped..... June 26 3dpiui and doing fine June 27 4dpiui and cramping some June 28 5dpiui and feeling good June 29 6dpiui and a few cramps July 7th take hpt JUST PRAY FOR EACH OTHER LADIES....... Katie-Hope all is well and your cyst has shrunk!! Madeese-I feel you on waiting for your follies to grow. I will be on cd 17 when I go back to see if they had grown. I am on my second round of clomid to get them growing! I know how it feels to wait, it sucks! Always room for 1 more Rachaell!  cherrygo-I am not actually from Ireland! But I am Irish! Good luck. Thanks for all the kind words ladies!! I usually respond so well to the Clomid but this month it's a bit late. I suppose this is a side effect of the PCOS? Oh joy! LOL

had my 2nd IUI done today. This time I was on injectibles, felt much better than while on Clomid. Had 2 follies on both sides and nice lining. Hoping and praying for myself and all of you to have our dream finally come true. Can POAS on July 12, meanwhile and .Fraise.

I had to write this. On my CD 3 baseline bloodwork and ultrasound, I had a nurse do my U/S. All the time before it has been done by a doctor. This time I guess nobody else was available. In the beginning she was acting as if she knew it better than a doctor does. She was poking me with ultrasound stick for at least 10 minutes before she found my uterus - how difficult can that be??? Then she tried to find my ovaries. She was trying so hard, I started to feel that the stick might come out of my throat. She asked me to press down with my hand my stomach where the ovaries might be. Eventually she found my left ovary. She continued poking me trying to find the right ovary, no luck. I told her several times she was hurting me. She finally gave up on me, left the u/s stick inside of me, told me to hold the wire connected to it, so it doesn't fall out, left me in this position laying on the table and walked out to look for the doctor! WTF?!?  Needless to say when the doctor came, she found my uterus and both ovaries with no problem. I told them after that procedure I wasn't sure I would be able to walk. Doctor was apologetic, but the nurse didn't care one bit. - Fraise. Quote:

well the nurse called and I am out for IUI this cycle but they want us to do timed intercourse. She confused me and I couldn't ask questions because it was on the Patient Results Network (PRN line).. but she said that they did a progesterone test to see if the follicle on the right was a risidual (sp) cyst or a follicle that would ovulate.. my P4 was 10.5
better than it has been in a long time so she said that she believe it will ovulate... Also the 20mm follie on the left side should ovulate. I am supposed to Trigger today when I get home from work and bd tonight and tomorrow night (prob will all week just to make sure LOL ), then another progesterone test on July 8th and a blood pg test on July 15th. So my confusion is.. I thought the 24mm thing on the right was a CYST not a follie and the other one was only measuring at 12mm... and I knew about the one on the left and have been feeling it all day long today. So does it sound like to you that I may ovulate the 12mm and the 20mm or the 24mm (cyst) and 20mm????? can you see my confusion here??? She did mention that the doctor said she may call me to discuss.. I really hope she does and if she doesn't I may call tomorrow just to be sure I know what they are talking about.. So anyway there is my update... for all of us to get our WISHES this cycle... even if mine has to be done semi-naturally I am gonna stick around if you all don't mind???  GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!!

katiep- I'm so sorry about them cancelling your IUI. At least you still have a chance and a more fun way to try!
I'm a little confused as well by what they told you about your follies (I can only image how you must feel). I would definetly call the office tomorrow for clarification. Sound like you have a couple with potential though. I will be for you. And please stick around. You are one of us and can't change that now. We are in this together!Kelly
