Hello Ladies.. can I join???
I got today and start 100mg Clomid CD3-7 and then FSH CD8-10. I am not sure exactly when the IUI will take place but it should be within the dates listed on the Forum Topic.
This is my 2nd IUI attempt but my first with injectables. I am this works for us.
Question.. does BD'g help your chances at all with IUI? We plan on BD'g to cover our bases but wasn't really instructed by our RE to do so, just thought I would ask some of you that have done IUI before.

Katie!! Of course you can join us. To answer your question about BD'g, my RE recommends BD'g after the IUI that night (or day). And I'm not sure about others but my DH cannot BD no less than 48 hours prior and not more than 72 hours before giving the sample. That way they have the best quality sample from him. It might be different at your clinic so you might want to ask though. Good luck with the injectables. I hope this is the one for you!

Tippy, Good luck on the follie check! I hope that you have a couple of good ripe ones for your IUI. When I had my follie check last month I had 2 that were around size 17 and I had my IUI 2 days later so you will probably have your IUI this week. Good luck and we will pray that you have a in about 2 weeks!

Thanks Tracy that is very helpful info.. my DH really never has a problem with his samples LOL but last time we were told to bd on Tuesday night prior to a Friday IUI procedure but DH was out of town so they said to do it Wednesday but never mentioned anything after the IUI... we may just do it just to cover our bases.. I mean what could it hurt right?? LOL
I sure hope we start seeing some on here soon... It is always encouraging to see them that is for sure.

Hi Ladies!

I would also like to join this thread if no one minds. This is my last cycle with Clomid (taking 25mg - half the lowest dose.) But my doctor told me he would like to keep me on the clomid for 1 more cycle. If not, I am on to injectables.

I am waiting for to start so I can get this show on the road! LOL Today is CD 31 for me, no yet and a beta test on Friday.

sorry hasn't shown, I know how it stinks when you actually know you aren't and you just want her to show so you can get on with the next cycle. That was how I was this past weekend... Beta on Thursday indicated but due to the progesterone I was taking I knew it would prolong my cycle.. she finally came last night around 10pm so today is officially CD1 for me. so maybe she will come today or tomorrow or soon this week and we can be cycle buddies..

Welcome Katiep and Madesse! I am another one having my third IUI this month. That is if ever comes. I am a week late today with no sign of it coming. Everytime I see the box of medicine in my kitchen I get more anxious to start.

AFA BD is concerned, my RE told me to withhold 48 hours prior and 24 hrs after. We waited a couple days after anyway because I was so crampy. I think we will try right after this time just to be sure.

I have been trying to stay away from the boards for a bit but that didn't seem to help me at all - I need some support for the women who totally get what I am going through.

Just found out about 3 more pregnancies and I am even lower than I was before. I just don't get it!

The **** Clomid is really messing with me this cycle too - crazy discharge, insane moodiness and I had a migraine today that literally incapacitated me for hours...

I just hope that the 3rd time is a charm! It looks like a lot of us in this group are on IUI #3... for for all of us!

smr302! I can't believe another third rounder!

I was on Clomid last year and the moodiness really got to me too. I cried in the middle of the food store because they were out of mint chocolate chip ice cream.

I had a really low day myself. The more I want to come, the longer it stays away. I've also been trying to follow the diet from "The Infertility Cure" by Radine Lewis and it has really been hard. I treated myself to a salad and an apple today and that was considered cheating.

Most of my family already has two or three kids with the exception of my 19 year old brother. Hopefully he won't beat me to parenthood. Most of my friends have kids as well. It seems like my DH and I are always going to a kids party. I try to stay upbeat and would never say anything about being sad but people look at me with those "oh poor thing. doesn't have any kids yet" eyes.

Anyway, I have to keep the chin up. Hope you are feeling better soon. Vent whenever you like. This is a great place for it.

Hello Ladies,

AF showed up on 6/9/09. So i went in for my 3rd day ultrasound and she said everything looked good including my lining. I started on femara 5mg a day for days 3-7. I also started menopur on Sunday night 1 and 1/2 a night until my next check up on 6/22/09. Nurse said my iui would probably be on 6/23 or 6/24. I am praying for all you ladies......

ttc for 18 months dx with unexplained infertility just finished clomid cycle 100mg dose going in for u/s 6/19 and if things look good i will rec hcg shot and iui 6/21

smr302, I have the same things happening with the clomid. I am like a crazy lady lately and now it's getting to the point that I think people are getting scared of me. I'm an engineer and have a high stress job and it's just kicking my butt lately. But I didn't want to change meds on my last IUI and then have it not work. I hope this is our month and we won't have to do this stuff anymore.

jessicagtalley, I will probably have my IUI around the same time as you. I can't believe it's only a week or so away now. Waiting for the IUI goes pretty fast for me but waiting for the is torture. Good luck to you!

Just wanted to say good morning. I am having another bad day today. My hormones seem to be in high gear and I haven't even started my meds. Still no AF.

I feel very discouraged already and I don't know what to do to snap out of it. I went to bed thinking positive. Then I came to work and they are giving me a hard time because I told them I need a day off towards the end of the month.

Good morning ladies... Hope everyone is doing GREAT today!!!!
Just wanted to say hello and spread some to the group... we do really need a ton of BFP's this month.

Per my schedule I am thinking I'll get my IUI some time in the week of June 29 - July 3rd... I guess I am a little behind a lot of you gals... but still in the time frame. I start my Clomid 100mg tomorrow and then next Monday start Follistim 100iu for 3 days, then a follie check on Friday 06/26.. that is why I am guessing my IUI will be the following week.. she normally doesn't do procedures on weekends.

starfsh25 - hang in there!!! That's awful that they gave you a hard time for a medical day off! Don't let that get to you - just worry about yourself and doing what you need to do to make you happy! I'm sorry that happened. We are always here if you need to vent!

TracyB - I hope this is our month for !! The Clomid makes me nuts too! LOL I think my husband is scared of me!!

I am going for my HSG test on Monday and ladies, I am so scared. Has anyone gone through this? I heard it is extremely painful. Oh joy, just what I need. LOL
