Hello Ladies.. just checking in... I am on CD4 today, second day of Clomid.. doing ok so far.. had some crazy dreams last night but other than that just the normal hot flashes at night. I have 3 more days until I have to start the Follistim.. so nervous about that..
But anyway.. Hope everyone is having a great day... Keep us updated on your cycle status...

So I have to share this. My mom has a wedding picture of me and hubby in her office. A lady she never met today was there for a meeting and she looks at my pic and tells my mom - "tell your daughter to stop all the tests and the treatment - she is going to have a wonderful baby." Apparently the lady is a psychic and healer - not that we knew that at all. She just happened to be there for an unrelated meeting. My mom was freaking out - I was too. Not that I put any faith in that, but it's nice to hear that someone feels confident in me! LOL

Hi everyone,

My u/s went well yesterday...the "leftover" follicle I had from last cycle was gone and RE said everything looked great. Started Clomid last night and am just really tired this morning (granted I wake up at 4:30am for work).

The other thing RE mentioned was that the day after I finish my Clomid, he wants me to wear estrogen patches for 1 week to thicken my lining. It's called Climera...anyone use this before? After my 3 previous rounds of IUI a year ago and now this last one, he's never put me on these patches before. Just curious.

Hi Ladies!

I wanted to add myself to the group for IUI#2. I started 150mg of clomid on Tuesday night and go 6/23 for my u/s bw. last month I had no follie growth at my first few u/s so I am hoping with the increased dosage of clomid things move a little quicker this month!!for a this time around!

Well I am doing a little better today after my breakdown Tuesday. I came home from work yesterday and just read a book trying to keep my mind occupied. I think my cycle is starting unless it will disappear like last month. When do you guys count day 1 of your cycle?

Madeese- The story with your mom is so interesting. I think it's a great sign of things to come. I went to a psycic with a bunch of my friends back in college and she told me five or six things that were going to happen. One was the loss of someone in my immediate family and my mother passed away shortly after that. All the things have come true with the exception of me having twins someday. Weird?

IrishKelly- Good luck and I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for multiple follies.

katiep- I had strange dreams when I started taken Gonal-f. Maybe it's the hormones? I woke up one night jumping on my couch dreaming I was on a trampoline. I awoke to my DH laughing his butt off trying to get me back to bed. Good luck with starting your Follistim. It's your first injections right? It's not that bad. I am the biggest baby when it comes to needles and I was fine.

I am joining the group and here is my latest news . . .

Well, I went for my follie check today with is CD12 for me. I took femara CD 3 - 7. I had 7 follies. 2 were really small, 1 was 13 cm, and the other 4 were 12 cm. Last month I had 3 at this time . . . ??

Anyway, the RN scheduled my IUI for Wednesday after a trigger on Monday but said she would discuss with my RE. Then called back and I have to go in on Monday to see my RE ??? Sure hope some of those follies GROW!!! I guess my RE wants to do another check before I trigger. I only had one u/s last month so I am just not sure.

Officially in the dark until RN calls back tomorrow . . .

AFM: AF is gone, she left yesterday, I am taking my Clomid until Sunday and then start the Follistim on Monday.. just trying to mentally prepare myself to an emotional roller coaster ride.. It would be nice if we didn't have to go through all of this crap just to get babies... arrghhh

This is a pretty uneventful cycle this time around...which is good. 2 days of Clomid down, 3rd dose tonight and not feeling too bad. Oh, except for my crying spell last night LOL Wasn't about anything in particular, just feeling emotional I guess!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!! Next year at this time, we'll be wishing our DH's/BF's a Happy Father's Day

I took my 3rd day of Clomid this morning and have two more to go.. then the dreded Follistim injections start on Monday morning.. so Mandesse, after celebrating Father's Day with DH and DS, I'll start my freaking out about giving myself a shot in the belly the next morning..

Ruthlus12, I don't think you have anything to worry about. It seems like they checked you a little too early and you weren't quite ripe enough. They probably want to time it just right and needed to check it out again to make sure it was time. I think you'll be just fine. Good luck to you.

starfsh25, I count the first day of my AF as cycle day 1. But last month I got AF at night and the nurse said to count the next day as day one to figure when I start the clomid. I'm confused of the real rules because I read online that you should count the day you get your AF as day one as long as you get it before midnight. So I guess I'm not sure. I am happy you are feeling better today

IrishKelly, Good luck to you this time around. I hope the increased clomid helps you this time. I went from 1 follie with 50 mg to 4 follie's with 100 mg so hopefully it will help you too.

kremd75, I am feeling the same as you...uneventful. I really am super relaxed about it all this month.

katiep, I hope the injections go okay for you on Monday. I'm curious to know about how you do since if this IUI doesn't work for me I will be giving lots and lots of injections for IVF.

As for me, I'm hanging in there. Monday I go for my u/s and we'll see what day they pick for me to have my IUI. Also, next Friday I have my IVF coordination meeting. I will meet the coordinators that will be monitoring me and seeing me through it all to the hopefully happy end. I put down a fat $700 deposit to reserve my procedure for August today too. I will get that money back though if the IUI next week gets me . And I am really hoping it does. I'm scared to get knocked out and they would have to knock me out for the egg retreival. Plus lots of injections to be given by yours truly....oooowwweeeee!! This weekend I am going to hopefully have a garage sale and hopefully the weather will be nice enough to lay in the sun for a bit. I live in Michigan so the weather is very unpredictable this time of year.

Thanks TracyB for the info. I called my RE office today and they told me the same thing. I'm just afraid I might miss my window. Good luck with your u/s Monday.

kremd75- glad things are going well so far. I feel for you about the crying spells. Good point about father's day next year. How exciting is that?

katiep- hang in there. This is going to be a great month for all of us. You know where to go if you need to vent.

AFM- I started spotting a few days ago after being a week late and still no AF. I just want to start the ball rolling already. When I called my RE today I told them what is going on and she asked if I had taken a pregnancy test. I laughed and told her I had taken more than a couple just to be sure. She told me to come in Monday if my cycle starts over the weekend. If not, I have to wait until next Friday to have b/w and u/s done to figure out what CD I am on. I have a feeling it will be too late by then though. Trying not to think about it too much. I have a feeling that's why it is taking so long. Hopefully I can go in Monday and start my injections. It would be great to have my IUI before July. Hopefully I will respond well this time. It took 10 days from start of my first injection to my IUI the first time and 19 days the second.

Madeese-Reading sounds good. We aren't supposed to have very nice weather here so I may be doing the same thing.

Kris-Clomid does the same for me. I am forever on an emotional rollercoaster and I cry or get upset at the drop of a hat! Hopefully you have lots of follies and this is your cycle!

afm: I have 1 more dose of clomid and then I wait until Tuesday and I that I have some good follies. Last month it took forever and I had a 2nd round of clomid. Hoping with the increased dose that doesn't need to happen again!!
