Hi ladies!
Just wanted to say hello and to all! Looks like we are all on our way - well somewhere in the process!! I am excited for my U/S on Friday (or possibly Saturday) and then hopefully my IUI is shortly after that!

I agree, let's try for 100% BFP this month!!!

Just got back from my RE appt...I had 2 follies on my right side 19mm and 17mm and 1 on my left side, 16mm. RE wants to let them grow a bit more so he didn't induce my ovulation today. He's going to do it tomorrow, then do my IUI shortly after that. We're also doing an IUI on Friday so I hope the timing will be ok. I figure the swimmers for tomorrow's one should still be hanging around long enough until I ovulate. My lining also improved, it was 7.9 and RE said he likes it to be 8 so sounds good! I really hope this is the one!! Hope everyone else is doing good!

This time I've decided to take the day off and relax as last IUI i went back to work and then looked after my godson for 24 hours (and he's a handful). I'm also staying away from cleaning products and my usual deoderent, toothpaste etc...Bought some organic stuff. Dunno if this is goin overboard, but my sis, told me she avoided bleach and parabens and it worked for her that month...so I'll try anything!

On day 2 of Gonal F and already feelin the little ovulatory twinges....of my follies growing...so thats good. It's hard not to become preoccupied with this, when you are taking the drugs on a schedule. I'm trying to forget about it and not put too much stock in it, but every day its on my mind...

To everyone thats had their IUI....saying some prayers for you....lets try for 100% IUI BFP stats HERE!!!

Hi Cherrygoround. I am on day 3 of Gonal-f. Looks like we are on a similiar schedule. I've been having twinges (or stabbing pains) on both sides and the bloating has begun. I have my first u/s on Friday so hopefully all this pain will be for something good. Good luck and keep me posted.

Hi Katiep, it does seem that the three of us are on the same schedule. I took my third shot tonight. My RE raised my Gonal-f to 450ius after my b/w today. Of course I think the worst and think "oh my goodness, I'm not responding again.". Trying not to think the worse. I have my first u/s on Friday so we'll see.

Any side effects yet? The Gonal-f and Menopur has made me bloated and I've been getting sharp pains in both my sides. Grow follies, grow!

Well day 1 of 2ww. Had a little crampiness today. Dh had 14 million swimmers which is a lot lower than the last two iui's so it's enough. Good luck to everyone this month

AFM- I am CD5 today and had more b/w this morning. After the results, my RE raised my Gonal-f to 450iu with my Menopur. It's making me a little nervous because it makes me think that I'm not responding like I should. My first u/s is Friday so I guess I'll see if its working. Can't image that can up it much more? I've been getting sharp pains on both sides so hopefully it's doing something.

It's going to be a great month for all of us!

My IUI scheduled this Friday...
What follicle sizes are good for IUI? And how much time do you usually have between trigger shot and IUI?
My IUI will be 36 hours later.... Can I ovulate before?
today is cd12, and IUI is on cd14.

I also had an ultrasound this morning, and I have 3 follicles on the right side - 28mm, 27mm and around 17mm, but nothing on my left. Oh, God, please help!

KatKat, I think you will be fine. I asked my RE about the size the other day and he says generally speaking they like them to be at least 18-20 in size at the time of the IUI. Someone on here said before that they grow 1-2 sizes a day. You should have your IUI around the 36 hour mark. Also, do the BD that night too if your doctor says it's alright. Every month I seem to be a little different as far as which cycle day I get my trigger and IUI so don't panic if day 14 seems too late for your IUI. Try to trust your RE because he does this stuff all the time and has lots of practice to know how to do it right. You don't need a lot of follicles by any means. As a matter of fact they generally don't want you to make more than just a couple of good ones. I only have 1 follie this month and it's perfectly normal. If you have 2 then of course your chances of success are a little higher but you can definitely get pregnant with 1 follie too. You sound pretty normal to me so try not to panic. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a for you. Good luck on Friday!!

I am new to this forum and this is my first post but I have been reading it for a while now.
My husband and I have been trying for over 2 years now.We were diagnosed with unexplain infertility.Last two cycles we did IUI but unsuccesfull
We wanted to go and do this month 3 IUI but it turned out my husband will be ou of town the week of my owulation So we have to take a break this month. I was taking Femara 2.5 mg with do IUI but my RE never did any Usg so I don't know how may follicles I had or how big they were. Is that normal process. Or am I missing on something. I asked the nurse last time and she said usg is not neccessary and just add to the cost of IUI. I think i would prefer to pay more but know what is going on in my body after taking Femara.. I don't know.... any advice?
I really thing I will ask My RE for monitoring with my 3 IUI next month.
I hope i spell most of the word correctly..English is my second language.. I prefer to speak English over writting Sorry..

MO30... I would definitely ask your doctor for better monititoring and ultrasounds... you should have them to see how you are responding to the meds. I have gotten 2 u/s in one cycle before but mostly just 1 u/s at around cycle day 12 or so. If you are willing to pay for it, I am sure they will do it if you ask. Be proactive girl... let them know you mean business.. you want a baby!!! LOL

mo30, I usually have 2 ultrasound per cycle - on day 3-5 and day 12. Ask you doctor about it next time.
