Alright ladies I'm starting a new thread for the next round of IUI's. Looks like I will be having my U/S on June 22nd and my IUI around June 24th (give or take a day).

Well I just finished taking clomid, 100mg, I go in this weekend, probably June 13 to make sure I have follicles, if so I'll get a shot of Hcg and then try within 24 hours, so the IUI will probably be done sometime next week!! Good luck Tracy!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for the both of us!!

Hello ladies.

I am still anxiosly waiting for to arrive which should be any day. I am expecting to start my injections of Gonal-f and Menopur on Monday and hopefully respond well enough to have my third IUI the end of June.

Tippy, I hope you have a good ultrasound this weekend. You seem like you are on the same meds that I am on. Do you get bad hot flashes from the clomid? Is this your first IUI?

Starfsh, If your doesn't come is there a chance that you are or do you know for sure already? Well if you are definitely not then I hope comes fast so you can hurry and start a new round. Nothing more frustrating to me then having to wait for when I know I'm not. I hope the 3rd time will be the charm for both of us. Good luck!

Thanks for the kind words TracyB. I hope we have too. I thought about the possibilty of being pregnant because I had light spotting a few days ago and now nothing but I POAS yesterday and it was negative.

Tracy -l luckily I hardly get side effects from any of the meds I take. The only thing I've noticed with clomid is I'm a little more emotional and I've cried about a couple things I normally wouldn't cry about. Yeah this is our first IUI. We went in for it 2 months ago to try, but the dumb nurse didn't prescribe me the right dosage of clomid, so she said there was still a chance, but not a great one, so I didn't want to spend the money on a not-so-great chance. So we are trying the first time next week.

Hello friends. This is my first post even though I have visited this site often. I am starting my 1st round of IUI and praying this is the cycle of

I am continuing on Femora and trigger shot (5th time) and later this month the IUI. Not sure what to expect. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. I am so glad we have this site...I have been feeling so low and reading other posts have given me more hope.

I was devasted last month...3 days late for AF and BOOM...

Prayers - I am so sorry about last month, I definitely know the feeling, but just imagine what it'll be like when you do get PG!! I'm in the same boat as you as well, starting my first round of IUI, but I'm on clomid. What is Femora? I've heard it plenty on here, just don't know what it is? Hi everyone! This will be IUI #4. Ultrasound is 6/22 so IUI will probably be on the 24th. Switching to Femara this month because I couldn't deal with the Clomid anymore. Will probably switch to injections soon if this cycle or the next one doesn't work. My RE said there is a high possibility for multiples with injectables.

Hi Tippy! I think Femora is basically the same as Clomid. I did 1 round of Clomid but Dr. switched me to Femora..not sure why. Maybe my ovaries weren't responding to Clomid as well as Femora. Good luck to you this month as well! Keep me posted on how you make out!!!

Heather, Looks like we are in it together for yet another round. I have my U/S the same day you do so maybe we will possibly have the same IUI date as well. Good luck this round. I know how frustrating it can be the more times we try and fail. It's a real downer but I have faith that this will be our month!!

Prayer4baby, I think you will be alright with the IUI. There really isn't much to it. At least at my clinic, I go in for an U/S, I get a trigger shot and a day or so later they do the IUI. When I get my IUI it only takes about 5 minutes for the procedure so it's kinda like the real thing...hahaha!! Sorry I had to make that comparison. But then you lay there for as long as they say, my clinic it's 20 minutes. I usually have a lot of cramping and uncomfortable feelings the day of the IUI but then it goes away by the next day. Every girl is different though. Then all you do is wait to see if it worked (about 2 weeks). Just stay positive and take care of yourself and you will be just fine.

Tippy, thanks for sharing your side effects with the clomid. I really get hot flashes bad and I am also emotional too. As a matter of fact, when the last IUI didn't work I was like "no way, I'm not doing another one, this sucks, I can't take it anymore". But since I'd have to wait a month before starting IVF I decided to stick it out for one more month. So let the craziness begin! It will be worth it when I have a .

Hello,

Well my box of meds showed up yesterday. My RE wants to double my dose of Gonal-F and Menopur from last time. I almost fell over when I kept pulling out box after box of meds. I also got my Ovidrel and a new injectable I hadn't taken before to stop ovulation. Now if only my would come so I could get started. I'm a few days late and took a test to be sure but it was negative.

I changed my diet over the past couple months so maybe that is messing with my cycle. I gave up caffenine, sugar, breads, dairy and some other stuff. It's been really hard but will be worth it in the end.

Heather, I agree, another month seems so hard to do yet again. This month though I am pretty relaxed about it. I'm only doing it because I couldn't start the IVF procedure and I just didn't want to waste a month. I hope that because I'm so relaxed about it that this will be THE month. I should have looked into the femara. But I guess since I'm doing alright with the clomid they just kept me on it. My poor DH is trying to deal with the clomid side effects too. I can get so emotional over things that never bothered me before. Poor hubby.

Tracy - Yeah, I'd do the same... might as well try IUI if you can't get do the IVF for another month. I hope everything goes well with the clomid and hopefully your DH will understand it's just the clomid, haha. Keep us posted on your U/S!

I accidently posted on the wrong thread in here, but I go in for another U/S today to check the follies. I went in on Saturday and they said I have 3, maybe 4 follicles! The biggest was 17, and the other 3 were between 10-15. So hopefully, they're bigger today and we can do our IUI this week!!!
