CherryGoRound - thank you for answering my question about the Gonal F on my thread that I posted. I posted another question for you but thought you might see it sooner on this thread. Here is my question for you:
What is Orgulatran and on what cycle day do you start taking it? I was just going to post a thread inquiring about Lupron or other GnRH Drugs to make sure I don't ovulate early. I have never taken these before but I read some stuff from a IF Dr. and he highly reccommeneds it - thought my Dr. has never brought it up?? Thank You!!

It makes me feel better knowing I am not alone. I of course am being super supportive of my friend and she is trying to hard to be aware of my feelings. She is one of my biggest supporters. I have found that these forums have made my entire infertility process so much easier! I can't wait to see how everyone's U/S go!!! Mine is Sunday and I am feeling good!

Answer to questions about Orgulatran
Hi newroad
It is taken every morning (Gonal in the evening). Here is some info taken from the leaflet: Used in women undergoing assisted reproduction techniques, occasionally ovulation may occur too early causing a significant reduction in the chance of getting pregnant. Orgulatran is used to prevent premature LH surge that might cause a premature release of eggs. I must say the injections of this one are so prickly! Sore! I hope this helps. how to use orgulatran
Sorry also taken from the leaflet as I missed part of your question. Orgulatron should be injected under the skin once daily, starting on CD6. Daily treatment of Orgalutron should be continued up to the day that sufficient follicles of adequate size are present.

Can you believe I'm still waiting for AF???? I spotted again today, but nothing else... I may not be cycling with you ladies after all. I guess I'll wait and see how the weekend goes. I should be pretty close so you probably won't get rid of me off this thread
 Oh, and Cherry - My clinic does not do B2B IUI's either, I've never asked why. I didn't realize anyone did that until I found this site. I'll have to ask next time I go in. Weekend plans: throwing a big 3rd birthday party for DS. I'm kind of wondering if all the stress of planning the party and the very, very busy stressful month I've had at work is keeping AF away. At least the party is tomorrow and I'm all ready and I can just relax and enjoy the time with friends and family and watch how excited he gets! I like your idea of a romantic time with hubby. I agree with you about the best buddy thing - I'm so thankful for my husband through this. He's my stable rock and so supportive and understanding even when I get a little crazy with the hormones! AngelJourney - I have done Femera for probably 14 cycles now I think (I've lost count, but it's been a lot). Anyway, I did get some side effects. I found that it really made my tummy upset the days I took it. I also got a little crabby, but not awful. I did not experience weight gain and I'm very sensitive to gaining weight. Really, I didn't notice any side effects after I stopped taking it and I only took it for 5 days a month. Good luck, I hope it works for you! It did for me with my son 3 years ago, it only took 3 cycles, so I know it works!

just a response to some of the earlier posts on how hard it is to deal with friends/sisters getting preggers whilst you are still trying. Read a really good book about a year ago and she said think of it like this - there are enough babies to go around - your baby will come and know yours will come - feel happy for them in knowing it is just a matter of time before yours will come.
I thought this good - that when a pang of jealousy or 'WHY CAN'T IT HAPPEN TO ME' to turn it around with - 'I know mine will come' so I'm going to be happy for my friends/sisters/colleagues. Its much more positive than the spoilt child of "its not fair, why are they preggo and I'm not" Anyhow, I've had to use this in the past year - cos guess what my sister got pregnant in January. Sure I had a little cry - but I made sure I kept that thought in mine - my day will come - my baby will come when its good and ready.... Have to go and take my nasty orgulatran now this morning - its just too sore....esp doing it myself. See ya later hope the weekend is going fab. Enjoy the weather. I'm gonna listen to some chakra music, breathe deeply, meet friends - cook a romantic meal for my DH, go for a walk with him and enjoy!!! Lots of love cherrygo

Thank you Cherry for that information. I called my clinic to ask about it but they don't use anything like that drug. I am going to talk to my Dr. about it again when I go in for my US on the 30th - but I hope I won't have to think about it because I will get pregnant THIS TIME AROUND!! - Thank you for all of your positive input - it is helpful!! Aphrodite - I know that must be very frustrating for you. Hang in there!! So I made a visualization board. I just need to keep my mind in a positive place. Each morning I am taking some quiet time to look at the board and visualize that I will get pregnant - hey Oprah said it worked - so I am trying everything  Today I am CD9 and I am just starting to feel the slight crampiness and heaviness of my ovaires and follies - I hope this is a good sign!! I go in on Monday for my HSG and on Tuesday (30th) for my Day 12 US. I think my IUI will be on Thursday the 2nd!! Positive Thoughts, Positive Thoughts, Positive Thoughts!!  Go BFP!!

Can I join in? I just took my first Femara pill tonight, and hopefully have my IUI#2 on 7/10. I was terribly disappointed that my IUI#1 didn't work, but has decided to move on!! Hello had my U/S today CD 9... I had two on my right side 13 and 11. I have a blocked left tube, but had 4 on that side 2 -12's and 2 - 8's. So my best one is on my good side this is all good!!! I have probably 4 more days to grow... If they grow 2mm a day as they should we could have a 21 and a 19 on my right side. I am hopeful for that!!!! I feel alot of activity down that! So I hope that means they are growing as we speak!!! I couldn't sleep last night because I felt full and lots of little pains. I actually thought I may have over responded, which would be crazy since I am such a slow responder. However I was very glad to see the two good sized follies!

Well I think I'm definitely out for the July 1-10th IUI... Still no AF and yesterday I had a big blob of egg white cervical mucus (wt...??) that had some brownish blood in it. So, I think the other 2 days I thought I was spotting was actually tinted cervical mucus. So I don't know if my body decided to ovulate on it's own after the Provera or what. I'm going to call the nurses on Monday and see what they think. It's been 8 days since my last Provera pill. And the first time I took Provera they told us to use protection, but this time they didn't mention it, but I assumed we were supposed to, but Thursday night I really thought AF was going to start and we BD without using any protection, but I'm not taking the provera now, so that's probably okay?? But considering what we are going through to try and get pregnant, I seriously doubt 1 bd after taking the Provera is going to result in anything but now I wonder if I should be cautious with drinking and medication just in case??? What are your thoughts?

I'd be a bit cautious with drinking and meds anyhow. Is your AF late like this always? What is the doctor saying? Angeljourney love your analogy of "flying" solo as the singular IUI procedure!!! I like the idea of a B2B IUI though...I want my eggs to drown in swimmers...hehehe.
