Well, IUI #2, DONE! I know there are so many other girls IUI'ing today, so good luck to everyone!

For some odd reason, it hurt kind of bad this morning when they did it. I wanted to cry for a second, but it was because they couldn't get it past the barrier. Luckily they did and they said everything looked great! They said the sample looked good and the IUI went perfect. Now on to the 2ww! Good thing I'll be out of town this weekend, keep my mind off it.

If no AF, I go in to test 07/27, same as you mbaggett!!

Mbaggett - is this the first time you are on progesterone? I start the suppositories on Wednesday. Not looking forward to that!

Well I went for my IUI this morning. DH's motility wasn't as high as last time but I hope that doesn't matter. Figure it only takes 1. We will BD tonight so hopefully 1 will make it to the eggie

I am really hoping that this month works cause the timing of these appointments is getting to be a problem... Don't know how many times I can say I have a doctor or dentist appointment before people start to wonder what is going on.

For those of you that work full-time.. Did you tell your boss that you are undergoing fertility treatment or how do you get to all these appointments?

Also, I work full time and I ended up telling my manager what's going on so that he wouldn't wonder, but you're in no way required by law to tell them any medical issues. But I trust him and wanted him to know so that he knew I was leaving for a legitimate reason. But it's definitely hard, especially when we only find out about the appt. last minute!

I had my second IUI this morning as well and it was hurt pretty bad as well! Last cycle, I barely noticed it, today the nurse had a problem getting the catheter to go in properly. She said it kept bending back on itself. After a few tries it finally worked!

I go in for my beta on the 27th as well!

I am on what, day 1, of my 2WW and I am going BONKERS! I am at work, haven't done a thing. Just looking at baby stuff online! I took a hpt just to see the 2 lines. I have never seen 2 lines before! It was heartbreaking!

Nicky: I told my boss. It's just her and I most of the time and I am in the medical field so it seems not to be a big deal. She is totally understanding. But she is a FEMALE and we all stick together, right?!?!

I am bursting. I have already named the baby, decorated the nursery (in my head), and found day care!

How am I to survive this wait!?!?! Please help, gals who have been there, done that!

Hi, I am joining this thread as this is my first IUI scheduled on Wed. at 9:40. I am nervous but excited to finally be at the IUI process.

I have two follicles. one on the left about at 21.6 and one on right at 15.6mm. My Estrogen is at 400. They want my to trigger tonight (monday) and then show up for IUI on Wednesday morning.

Does this sound like the timing is o.k. and numbers? It seems like if they trigger me tonight that we might miss egg fertilization if we wait until Wed. a.m. What do you think?

Any input is appreciated as this is my first time doing this. I might mentioned I was on Gonal F 112.5 for 8 nights.

Greg'slady - I feel like I haven't done a thing today either! I feel like I am checking the board every 5 mins to see how everyone's IUI's went!

BrendaP - I don't know too much about the levels but the timing and size of your follies sounds great! Most RE's will have you trigger 36 - 42 hours before the IUI. I triggered on Saturday at 8pm and had my IUI at approximately 9am this morning (Monday).

Gregslady - you are so cute, haha. I'm almost the same. I have my list of baby names all ready for when I find out I'm pregnant, haha. What names do you like?

Brenda - as far as the timing goes, that sounds great! My RE actually has done some research and found that it's best around 36 hours, so that sounds perfect. I triggered Sat. night and went in at 8am this morning. I don't know much about estrogen numbers, but your follies sound great! 2 is a good number and you definitely have a good shot!

Nicky and Tippy- good to know that someone else will be on the 27th with me.

Nicky- yes, this will be the first time on the progesterone. Dont know what to expect though. Looked on a couple of other boards and havent found much, so if anyone knows and can tell the two of us, please do

I also told my boss about three weeks ago. I made sure to tell her with every bit of sweetness in me that I know she would want to know how everything was going but that I would update her if I was to get preggers. She understood what I was getting at... I didnt want alot of daily or weekly questions about if I was or wasnt.... So I would say, make sure you follow up with that if you feel they would ask you all the time.

Irish- you know thats the truth about the DH, they have it soooooo easy most of the time.

I had my day 1 IUI this morning. DH had good numbers! I go in for day 2 in the morning. My follies were still in my ovaries this morning - All 3! Eek!!

I already have a full cloth diaper stash for a new babe!

Once we started TTC(2+ years ago) I started buying and am pretty much all set with diapers through the first year! This being my second, I have all the other stuff but will need more if I have twins! Another EEK!!!

ETA: I will be testing on the 27th also! My DH's 40th bday!!

I had my 1st ever IUI this morning! It went relatively smoothly - just a little discomfort - and the fact that I really really needed to go to the potty!

RE Nurse said that DH's sample was good and my Progesterone level was at a 4 - which meant this morning was perfect timing and the 2nd IUI is not needed for tomorrow!

I don't know about ya'll, but I find this forum extremely helpful - people that are right there with me through this. Thanks to you all!!

as for progesterone - I find it constipates me and exaggerates PMS symptoms. I have taken 3xs now and just noticed those symptoms. I am not sure the difference it would be if I was actually pg. Maybe still just exaggerated PMS?

OK the BIG question is what are you going to do to busy yourself and not obsess over every twinge over the next 2 weeks??

I will be doing some relaxing things this week - a massage tomorrow, acupuncture on Wed, Yoga Thurs. We are taking DS to my moms for the weekend and are going to the COld Play concert this weekend. Next week my house will be COMPLETELY town up while we have our wood floors replaced! I won't have time to obsess next week for sure!

And I am always knitting!

What are your plans???

Looks like we are all moving along nicely into our 2ww. I hate this wait. I am such an impatient person and this is killing me!

Like many of you I have been making plans for when baby comes. My DH and I talk names all the time and we painted the "nursery" last year. We called it the guest room and painted it the colors that would go with the Classic Pooh stuff I want to use to decorate the nursery. I realize just wanting a baby does not make it happen, but I feel like we all deserve to be happy, and for us, this would make us happy!

Tippy-my DH and I go back and forth between names constantly!!!

I love the name Jack for a boy....right until my niece named her horse Jack. So for me that out!

I can't even pinpoint names...being a teacher I feel like picking names is even harder since I can associate kids with the names already and most of the time it isn't good!
