The saga continues... the lining is too thin to trigger tonight so they are pushing it another day. I don't know if this is good or bad.

Can follicles get too big? Can something happen to them? I don't ovulate on my own so they aren't concerned about that, but they do seem rather concerned.

Ay yeh yeh. The things I never thought I'd concern myself with...

Hi ladies! Well, I guess I jumped the gun this month! I joined the Jul 19 group, but I am having my IUI on the 16th... the tail end of this group! So far my body is just so unpredictable with these cycles. First IUI was CD18. Second IUI it was CD 14, this time it will be CD 12 ! I went in for a follie check today, and had nothing on my right side and one big 21 on my left, so I trigger tonight and IUI on Thursday! I am with you ladies though...My lining was only 5. I am taking estrace to help thicken it up before the IUI. I have to do that every month, but the earlier I am ready to go it seems like the thinner my lining is. Hopefully, that isn't what is keeping me from my BFP (my largest has been 7). I really this is our cycle!!

all deliveries- I am you get your !! I had lining issues this time around too. They will be giving me estrace next time. I am jealous that you get to trigger so early though...I had to wait until cd 30!

naomi-I am sorry you didn't feel well. I am not a fan of clomid either! Yucky side effects. It doesn't hurt to ask the questions, just get yourself ready for the answers, whether they be good or bad!

MyLifeInStirrups-hope your lining thickens up. I don't know if follies can get too big...i will keep my for you!

O.k. this is final count down. IUI tomorrow at 9:40. I am more excited than nervous. This is my first one. Its gonna feel nice not sticking a needle in my stomach tonight for the first night in what seems a long time.

Thanks Irish Kelly, Hey congratulations on your BFP. WOW. By looking at your info, your arms must be all bruised with the bloodwork!!!! But what didn't look positive turned out great. This is my first IUI and I have been up all night worrying will it hurt, will it work. I am so burned out right now. I just want to get it over with and see what happens. My husband is dropping off specimen right now and I go in later.

BrendaP - hope all went well at your IUI this morning.

AFM I started spotting last night I don't know what is going on with my body. Last month was my first IUI and about 24 hour after the procedure I started spotting. This didn't ease up and eventually AF showed up.

DH is really annoyed that noone seems to know what causes it. He even called and made an appointment to see the RE today! Hope I finally get some answers cause now DH really won't be on board for another cycle

Nicky - Sorry about the spotting, just stay positive! It couldn't definitely be something different. How long ago did you have your IUI? Could it be implantation bleeding??

AFM - I've been feeling sick since last night. I know it has nothing to do with being pregnant, because I'm only 2dpiui, but I feel feverish. I've been really achy and have been having chills and I'm hot, then cold, etc. I didn't want to take medicine because I didn't want to screw anything up, but I ended up taking some Tylenol because I was just feeling so crappy. I'm hoping I feel better soon because we leave for vacation tomorrow night! Well, I hope this doesn't screw anything up. for a !

I just got back from the RE and he doesn't know what is causing the spotting

He did say that everything looked great. My lining was nice and thick so he isn't concerned at all. He said that it shouldn't interfere with implantation or anything so I am that things will work out this month!

Now I just need to work on the staying positive part and that the spotting eases up this month!

Great news Nicky!! As long as he said everything's fine, I wouldn't worry in the slightest. Just enjoy these next few weeks even though it'll be tough!

afm: 5dpiui and I am still going crazy. i ordered pregnancy tests from the early pregnancy tests website. has anyone ever used them? They say they are : Super sensitive, detects hCG at levels of just 20 mlU/ml hCG. And I ordered 10 so they were on $1.95 a piece. 10 may be going overboard, but oh well!
I have felt"weird" for the last couple of days. I think I am just over analyzing everything! I feel like I have done 100 situps! Trust me I haven't done any in a LONG time!

Going to see Harry Potter tonight so that should help keep my mind off things!!!

Wow, we are all going through a lot this month! I'm thinking and for all!!!!!

I had BW this am and it said my progesterone is 6.3. That seems to be too low for them and I have to use the suppositories.. gross! Kinda upsets me because, to pass the time, DH and I are like teenagers! Now with this prometrium, no ! Bummer !!!

Sorry, TMI? I'm just saying it helps pass the time! LOL

So I will know on July 27th, the day before mine and DH 15th anniversary. Not wedding, we are only 31, but dating. We have been together for 15 years and I can't imagine going through this with anyone else!

irishkelly good luck with occupying your mind ..i have used the pregnancy tests you are talking about and they do work so no worries about that..they also have relatively decent opk strips..hope you get your bfp

they checked my progesterone just in case but no go so they will do another u/s on cd 22 incase something develops but it's not looking good for this month and the re wants to try 150 mg clomid next before moving on to injectibles (low low dose lol)
i cried and i think she felt bad (i'm a mess) my supervisor had to pull me aside to give me the talk about my attendance but he excused it this time do to extenuating circumstances, he's a really nice person, i didn't expect that...anyway my dr explained that all is not lost and since i did get pregnant with the clomid they want to try it as long as possible since there are a bout a hundred little follies in there(i'm exagerating but not by much) and they have to be careful with injectibles..so i'm not out ...yet

hello ladies,

I am new to this forum and to IUI. I was hoping you can help with with some info!! I just had my first IUI today (07/15) and had questions about what to expect. RE was not very helpful in providing information and I did not know what questions to ask!!

DH wash sperm was 12M - tech said that was good
my eggs in right follicle were 27 & 16 and in left 14

RE performed IUI since one egg was at 27 and around "fluid" which she said meant that i had ovulated. I did a OPK test this morning and it was positive

is the sperm count high/good enough? what is the sucess rate for first time IUI's? (any positive stories to share?) what about the eggs, are they the right size?? does this mean the IUI will only get to the 1 egg?? cramping and bleeding normal?

i apologize for the dumb/ignorant questions
