progesterone low, of course

Hi everyone! I went to my RE for bw yesterday. Of course it wasn't good news. My progesterone is low. She put me on Prometrium 200 mg 2x a day. She said I could take it orally or vaginally. She left a voice mail late in the day, so I didn't get to talk to her and ask questions, so maybe y'all can help me. Do women ever get a even if their progesterone is low? Is this a sign that it will not be my month? What is the bennifit of taking the medicine vaginally? I mean if I can swallow it, what's the point? Thanks girls for all of your help and support this cycle. I'm sooo glad I found this website, it's been a real help. for all of our !

Hi carrieob-I do think that you could still be pregnant. The progesterone I believe keeps you from miscarrying. My RE says to take it vaginally so it does not get digested in your stomach too quick AND it can help keep you from getting an upset stomach. I have not had the prometrium, but I have read that you should wear ultra thin panty liners because it can get kinds gross down there Hope that helps!

Well, I am taking this surprisingly well but showed up this morning. It totally sucks because I had no symptoms whatsoever and all of a sudden this morning, there she was. I've NEVER started my period without some sort of warning, so this was definitely a surprise. Also I'm 2 days early, so yet again, no need to go in for a beta.

Well, that means I'll be back into the dr. first thing Mon. morning for b/w and to get back on clomid most likely. I'm not crying so that's a good thing I haven't told DH, he's not home this morning. He was out playing lacrosse this morning. (He coaches for Brigham Young University). It'll be sad to tell him, but he's usually more optimistic about it all.

I was so sure this time too. Now that I think about it, it's not full force like it normally is. I've never had spotting before though either, so I don't know what it's like really. How bad is it when you spot? I'm still like 99% sure it's , I guess I'm just curious.

Good luck to everyone else and

Sorry to hear of the BFN on here. Was hard that lots of you would get a BFP this time round.

AFM: Not going to test unless AF doesn't show up after 5 days. Just now 8dpiui had some cramping this morning but not reading anything in it anymore as been disappointed to many times. If this cycles fails going to take a 2 month break from everything then when start back may ask RE about doing injectables to hit it harder. He say can get pregnant but may take sometime due to dh low count. Just got to hang in there which at times is very hard to do knowing getting older each year.

Sending tons of Baby and to everyone on here.

Tippy, I am that it isn't

Don't give up hope yet if it she isn't here full force.

This cycle, I went to my RE 2 days after my IUI as I started spotting again. They don't know what causes it but for some reason I start to spot a day after the IUI and last month it didn't ease up until after . This month they put me on progesterone but I have still had some light spotting, mostly in the mornings.

I was asking if it was still possible for us to get pregnant. I was worried the spotting would somehow interfere but my RE said that it shouldn't. He actually said that it can be normal to have spotting/bleeding during early stages of pregnancy. He has dealt with patients who actually received every month while they were pregnant and actually went on to deliver a healthy baby.

So don't give up hope yet. you are still in. Keep us updated.

Thanks everyone for their well wishes, it's amazing how great everyone is on here.

Unfortunately has come full force, but it's ok. I still can look forward to next month! It also means a whole other month I'll be working and be able to save more money so when baby does come, we'll have a good chunk in savings and I'll be able to stay at home. There's always a silver lining.

Well, with the first few being , that's only means we're bound to have a few !!! So I'll keep for the rest of you!!!

Thanks again for all of your love and support, it means so much!

I couldn't agree with you more carrieob! I know that we are all strong to be going through this, but it's hard to stay so positive...keep it up ladies, you will get your soon!

I am trying to stay cautiously positive, after the spotting I had on Thursday and Friday. But yesterday afternoon my BBS started to hurt a little and today they feel like they are on fire. However, it could just be because I swam in the cold ocean yesterday...LOL...just a few more days!

I am right there with you! I almost POAS this morning but told myself that nothing will change from today to Wednesday morning. I so want to see 2 lines. It would be quite the welcome home gift for my hubby!

Random question - does anyone think it would be a bad idea to get on riding lawn mower and cut 3 acres of grass?? It needs to be done but I am reluctant since I don't know if being jarred around could possibly cause any problems.
