Gregslady to the group! Well, I just did my 1st IUI cycle last month and found out it didn't work when AF showed up

Luckily it showed up really early and I didn't have to wait, and wait until I POAS and got a . The wait kills me the most, and since AF came about 6 days early, I was completely shocked, but relieved that I could start the next IUI so soon. I cried of course the morning I found out, but I have an amazing DH who was there to hold me and console me.

I'm not going to lie, it's tough once you find out for sure it's not your month, but later that day I felt fine and was excited for round 2. So I think for me, knowing I could continue trying was a big help and also putting my trust in the Lord. Knowing that He know's what's best for me and that it's all on His timing and not mine, has helped me get through it.

I'm only on round 2, but I hope you don't have to get this far!! Hopefully this month is yours and everyone else on this thread's month!!!

Tippy, I think you're crazy , I was so upset when showed up early on me. I was in complete shock and really felt destroyed when it happened. This will be my 3rd IUI and I really hope this works this time. My DP made me poas because she said that stick cost us $4000 and by God, we deserved to at least be able to poas. Greg's lady, I don't think it is ever easy unless you see that precious . I have to agree that having a very loving, caring DP makes a world of difference. I could never and would never do this alone, it is very hard, but well worth it. I know it will be so worth it. The best thing is humor and honestly, having these ladies here to talk to because they understand exactly what you are going through. They are going through it too, unlike others that may be in our everyday lives. So and good luck to all of us!!

greg's lady good luck to you first of all..you know i don't have any pithy (lol big word for me) words for how to make it thru the wait specially the 2nd time around..i just think you have a strength inside that knows you are meant to be a mother no matter what you have to go through and it steps up and takes over for you...coming here and sharing with all of these wonderful ladies is of course my second opinion (they are great!) and since sometimes no matter how much I want another baby I don't feel very strong at all I guess I just have to say to you come here and visit with us when you are not feeling very strong and maybe we can help...and if you feel like you have strength to share..I think that's awesome too
good luck and group hug

2 days (yesterday and earlier tonight) I had Clomid and so far no side effects. I hope it stays that way. Our church is putting on an American Celebration tomorrow night and Saturday we are running across the city to meet my parents for dinner (we live in Atlanta and they are out-of-town but passing through). I have off Monday for the holiday so I really hope this week passes quickly. I am very hopeful for this month, but afraid to hope at the same time. I hope we all have good luck and get PG this month. Go April babies!

Can I join in?

I thought I already posted on here... I guess I didn't do it right!

I am on cd6 today, can that be right??? It just seems like it will be forever until I get my IUI done and find out if this will work!

I am very anxious. Any advice on how to pass the time? I have work and stuff, but nothing is holding my attention!

And advice is appreciated!

Thanks!

Well ladies, count me out of this month. Got back from Re today and had a decent size cyst on the left side and that's a no go. Maybe it's God's way of telling us that it's ok to take a break from the physical and emotional elements of IUI. I will check back to see you all get your 's.

Hi ladies... I would love to join your group but dont know if should join an IUI chat as I am doing a cycle of Femera for ovulation induction with timed BD instead of the IUI. Can I join anyway? Its the same, just not the IUI, we will try natural baby dancing. If this round doesnt work they are saying that we will probably move to injectables and possibly the IUI. But who knows. Im keeping my fingers crossed that this month will be all of our months.

Here is this months journey for me in case I am in the right chat......

Took Estrace this passed weekend. Baseline u/s 7/1. Start Femera 7/3, 7/8 u/s to check on follies, 7/10 u/s to check follies, 7/13 u/s and possible trigger then its lots of BD for me and DH.

Hi Ladies!

I'm going to join this threat with some caveats, if you don't mind. I am pretty down today and I think joining a new thread might help give me something to look forward to! So here I am.

I had IUI #1 on 6/20 and am supposed to go for the blood test Monday 7/6. However, I have had some on OPKs (b/c I promised no HPTs this time . . . ), my temp dipped this AM, and my boobs, which were super sore, are not so much any more. No yet, but I am pretty sure the wench will be here tomorrow.

Based on last cycle's numbers, I would have to go for the IUI on Thursday, 7/16. It is an extremely busy season at work and missing that morning would be pretty tough. I might try to talk DH into skipping one cycle, but when I brought it up before, he really wanted to just continue. I just hate to have all that added stress . . .

Will keep ya'll posted . . .

Oh Naomi good luck I hope that you ovulate on the weekend!!!

I went in for a check up this morning, and my results are a little discouraging. I had 12 small (under 10)follicles, but my lining was thin, and my estrogen level hasn't risen much. Last month seemed to go so smoothly and so textbook, I thought that I would respond that way again. The doctor wants me to increase my dosage tonight-Tuesday night. I guess I will just have to wait and see what happens. Although perhaps having this month start off shaky will end up being a good thing, because last month's textbook response ended in a !!!! Here's hopin!

dylansmommy, I hope your hubby can get that time off. I can relate to being torn b/c of work. But we feel like we can't stop now. So, we're just going to go for it and work will be secondary. I'll call in sick if I need to. Luckily, my DHs boss has been through this and is very understanding . . .

So yeah, still no yet, but that's probably the prometrium . . . if she doesn't come tomorrow I have to go for the beta. Then I can say whether or not I will be joining the "fun" with all of you this cycle!
