You are a brave woman for giving up the caffeine. I cannot seem to. Tried twice but I am a migraine sufferer since the age of 14 and it brought on some doozies. The migraines are getting better with the acupuncture, so maybe I'll try again.

U/S was good for me this morning. Starting the femara today (CD2) and if I follow the same pattern as last time, I will do the insemination on 6/18. Could still be 6/19 I suppose.

I agree caffeine is almost impossible for me to give up! I like my lattes and chocolate too much. I like a can of soda too, although I like caffeine free too!

Ahhh the joys of ttc! I am in my good friend's wedding next week. Open bar and no alcohol for me!!!

Oh well! Hope everyone is having a good night!!

Dylansmommy: I (many years ago) had to come off the caffine due to heart stuff. You can do it, just takes tricking your mind a little. You can get the same taste by drinking the caffine free stuff. Pour it into a cup of ice so that the visual is not the can it came in. Before you know it, you will not even blink an eye at it anymore. We all have faith that you can do it Whooo Hoooo (thats me cheering you on)!

Everyone else.... Hope you had a great day. Is there an easy way of remembering who said what? I have such a horrible memory and want to be supportive.

I go in the morning for my b/w then again on Monday to hopefully get my trigger shot.

Tippy - i have my day 12 u/s tomorrow too. since its my first time i don't know when I'll trigger. I guess it depends on how my ovaries responded to the clomid.

heatherly - yikes! acupuncture huh? i don't have a fear of needles, but the whole idea still makes me nervous.

irishkelly - i know you're bummed about just the 1 mature follicle, but it only takes one! a lady i work with had injections with iui and they said none of hers were mature. they had already paid for all the meds and such, so they went ahead and did the iui and she ended up with fraternal twins! they are now 14.

dylansmommy - i have a major addiction to soda (never drank coffee). i haven't had any since sunday, june 28. i was cranky and had headaches, but it only lasted a few days. I just drank plenty of water - got a big insulated 52 ounce jug - and i've been drinking it a ton!

Good luck to everyone. We are about to get started on the iuis/2ww - i hope it goes faster than this first 2 weeks has gone.

Tomorrow is my day 12 ultrasound. I hope the clomid has done it's job -- I am completely exhausted and had some real nice mood swings the past couple of days so I hope those are good signs!

Giving up caffeine was an issue for me as well. The hardest thing to cut out was the coffee in the morning, I have a mental block that I need it to really wake up!

Warm wishes with all of you!!!

Katie: I have my 12d U/S tomorrow too! I can't sleep or eat anymore... all I think about is !!!!!

My hubby's cousin emailed me the nicest email about how proud she is of us and how brave we are. It made me very emotional and anyone that knows me knows I am not very emotional! Hoping that's a sign! She also said her best friend just had a baby from donor sperm, IUI, FIRST TRY! So now I am PUMPED!

Ok, just thought I would share someone else's great news! LOL

Good day and to all.

Depending on my b/w I might trigger today or tomorrow. They dont think I will last till Monday. Yikes, that means my hubby has to give me my shot!!! This will be our first time. Im a little nervous, any suggestions would be great. Atleast the shot is in my booty (got lots of cushion) LOL.

Hope everyone has a GREAT day!!!!! My fingers are crossed for all of our .

Good Morning ladies! It is finally Friday! Yay! Seems like it has been such a long week.

Seems like quite a few of us had u/s and b/w done this morning or are going tomorrow morning. that everyone seems some ripe follies ready to go!

I had my u/s this morning and I had quite a few small follies with 2 bigger ones, one being 17mm the other 14.5mm. I am taking some follistim tonight and go back in the morning for another u/s. Looks like my IUI will be on Monday

For those that went for an u/s this morning, what cycle day are you on and how thick is your lining?

I am a little concerned with my lining. It was only 6.6mm. My RE doesn't seem to concerned so I guess it is ok.

When does the worrying ever stop?

that we all see a at the end of this month!!

I have had the trigger shot a few times and it isn't that bad. The most important thing is that you relax!! Don't tense up!

The first time I had the trigger was at my RE's office and they did it in my upper thigh! Left a bruise and hurt around the injection site for a few days but that was probably cause I couldn't relax! After that I had to have DH give it to me and they told me to get him to do it in my belly. I think it was better there, but that is just my personal opinion.

Like I said, just try to relax!

Hey ya'll! I went in for my ultrasound today and I left there VERY discouraged.

The RE Nurse said I have no follicular growth. NINE FREAKING DAYS of painful shots in my thighs - which are sooo sore that I can hardly walk - and NO GROWTH! ARGHH!!!!

But - after reading along with some of you, I realize that that's what happens some times. Maybe I'm a late ovulator, too. Maybe I need a few more days of shots to make me REALLY want children. Who knows!?!

Thanks for letting me vent! Good luck to you guys!
