Well, I'm out this month. AF arrived this afternoon. I am beginning to wonder if this is going to ever happen??? I can not afford IVF. My insurance will cover 9 IUI's this year and that's it.
I didn't want to post because that means it's really true...but can't deny it now that the  showed her face.

That's a bummer Heather and Newroad...
I'm right there with you Heather, I cannot afford IVF, and I have no insurance for IUI either, so it's all out of pocket. We have decided that we are willing to do the injectible IUI 6 times and that's all we can afford. At that point we will just live with our one perfect son  Good luck with IVF newroad! I've had a couple of friends and family members have success with that right away! for you!!AFM - I keep going back and forth between thinking I preggers for sure and that there's no way. I so want to test tomorrow but I don't want to face a BFN, so I think I'm going to go ahead and wait it out one more day. I've had some cramps on and off for the past 5 or 6 days. Today I felt really sick to my stomach all afternoon. Could have just been from the travel this weekend, or from the progesterone, or just didn't feel well! I really hope, hope, hope that it means something good!! This whole process is so overwhelming sometimes!! I think I'm going to be relieved no matter what the result is just to know one way or another!! I'm too type A for all this waiting!!

3/22/09 Began 100 mg Clomid 3/31 Follies checked. 4/4/09 1st IUI 24 million 1 folical 4/20/09 ,but level 43 need to redo test in two days.4/22/09 levels went up still low 4/24/09 Levels dropped  Chemical pregnancy4/29/09 Clomid 100mg 5/8/09 follicle check 4 folicals (9,9,10,11)gave me a shot to help them mature 5/12 follicles checked 2 good ones (17.8 and 21) 5/14 IUI #2 42 million 2 good folicals 5/29 beta came back 35 which is low, but still a 6/3 beta 42 they said its another chemical prganacy. 6/15/09 u/s to check cyst, Begin clomid 100mg 6/22/09 u/s follicle check 24, 20, 18 6/23/09 IUI#3 14 million swimmers 7/6 beta 7/16 brevelle shot 7/20 follie check only one 22 7/21 IUI #4 50 millions swimmers 1 good follie 8/5 Beta 2 8/7 baseline ultrasound 8/21 IUI #5 40 mil 1 good follie. 9/4 9/11 HSG #2 tubes look good scar tissue on cervix

I'm out...
AF showed up yesterday, right on time so I'm officially out. I'm just really bummed at the whole situation. Had a long talk with my boyfriend as to what our next step is. We can't afford IVF and have no plans to get married any time soon (our state covers one IVF for married couples) so we're debating on whether to do 3 cycles on injectables or just try naturally. In any case, I'm taking a break for a couple of months. Just need to be off meds and live life without the stress of treatment. Good luck to everyone, I'll be checking in on everyone from time to time! It's been a pleasure ladies and I really, really wish luck to everyone here.

Kremd75 - Sorry about the BFN. It is all a bit much to handle at times. Best of luck to you!! KatKat - Are you buying your meds from one of the 'speciality' fertility clinics? Yikes your meds are expensive - but it looks like they are doing their job!! Good luck!!

No symptoms yet - I had a beta Sat 38.6 and Mon and it was 89 -I have been on bedrest for 2 days bec I am having lots of brown and pink discharge. They increased my progesterone and now we wait and see. It is well with my soul though. thanks for asking!

First IUI in July if I ovulate on my right side NO IUI in July failed IUI in August lap in Sept. waiting to feel better Tried another IUI and didn't O in Nov. I'm so sorry babyplz, that is so devastating. What an unfair rollercoaster. You are right, there is some sort of plan even if we may never know it. I'm not really religious, but I do think there is something beyond us and what we can see an understand. It's just frustrating trying to figure it out. My thoughts are with you.

I'm so nervous an anxious about testing tomorrow. I know that if it's negative we will just move on to the next cycle and we will deal, but I just want it so badly to be positive that I'm afraid to test at all!! I know you all know exactly how I'm feeling. I've just been thinking about it for the past 2 weeks and now I'm at the end of the waiting at the moment of truth... I probably won't be able to sleep tonight. I can't stop thinking about it. I'm going to try some online retail therapy with possibly some ice cream therapy mixed in... I'm just so anxious and nervous. After almost 2 years of negatives it's hard to imagine it's ever going to be positive. I think the reason I'm so anxious is because right now I still have hope, if after this test it's a BFN, I don't have hope anymore either. I'm just back to waiting until the next cycle. But I can't just avoid reality, I'll have to face that little plastic stick at some point... I'll update in the morning!! Thanks for letting me vent a little.

So, I called my RE's office and left a message saying I wanted to start injections prior to the IUI. I've already been pre-approved by my insurance company. They called back today and said I would have to wait until my next cycle because I have to take injection classes that are different than the first injection class I took. Ummm...okay. So, we will be doing femara again this month and another IUI. I have to call my RE's office again tomorrow and get set up for the injection class this month so I will be ready for next month if this cycle does not work yet again...this will be #6.
Feeling pretty cranky about it all... However I found a thread on here about New Hope Fertility Center- they are doing an IVF trial in their NYC clinic. I applied and received my 2nd email from them today with my password so that I could fill out a questionnaire about my medical history and my spouse's medical history. So, now I'll be waiting again to see if they will meet with me. This would mean free IVF. It's the only way we can do it. NYC is about a 5 hour drive for us. We have friends that live near NYC and I have a couple of girlfriends that live in Jersey. I guess I will wait and see what happens and look for the next thread for August IUI's...see you over there! For all those that got a BFN...I'm sorry!!!! To those who got a BFP- WHOOT WHOOT...congrat's!!!!
