Molly...Sounds like that dh of yours is a keeper...It's so wonderful having a partner that is equally as excited. I would use guilt if the toxo ttc is getting weak..."What if I did and I was preggers?!" You know...Something along those lines... Guilt is a wonderul tool...Used sparingly, of course...

AllDeliveriesNoBaby...I am glad to be cycling with you too hon! You're always so good at comforting and staying calm...I need that!! I'm a catastrophizer (not sure if I spelled that right??)...I seem to go to the worst case scenario first thing, so need to be grounded here and there! I'm glad we're all going to be in this together! It makes the day to day that much easier... ((((Hugs))))

Katkat...I didn't mean to make you cry sweetie...I really am sorry, but we're going to keep you focused ahead to that BFP...Today, you feel sad and disappointed. You are totally entitled, but I'm not going to let you stay there long...Tomorrow I'm going to come get you out of the duldrums, and into the BFP-zone! Deal?? I'm not quite sure how I do it either...Insanity...Stupidity...I haven't decided, but think it's the BFPs I keep getting in the middle...They're like a sample that gets me hooked, and keeps sucking me back in for another try...I'm bullheaded too...So that's part of it I suppose...If I want something, gosh darn it, I'm gonna get it!!

Slyfox...No heat stroke kiddo! I hate those darn Clomid hot flashes...Especially, since the reality of menopause isn't that far away for me, and hate that reminder of what fun I have coming...You take it easy on yourself, and try to stay stress-free...You got follies growing there and that's hard work on your body...

Have you noticed there are tons of BFP's flying around the past week!! Literally tons! I want that baby dust flying our way!! Lucky month! Lucky season! Lucky charms...Okay...I'm grasping there...I ran out of "luckies"... Grow follies grow, and come on AF...Our girls need you!!

My son leaves in the AM for 9 weeks to see his dad in TX. I am a little anxious about that too. Not that it is a bad thing, but I just miss him so much when he is gone.

Thank you, hon!

I have an 8 years old boy and I can't leave him even for couple days...
I hope he will have a great time with his dad!

Hello ladies!! I'm still hanging in there in the AF Black hole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow is 3 weeks since my last provera pill. What will be even more frustrating is when I call my RE office to tell them this, the solution will probably just be to start taking provera again which will be MORE WAITING!!! I'm just really, really, really hoping she shows on her own by Tuesday. That's the day I'm predicting. I thought there was a tiny, teeny spot today when I wiped (yes, I am analyzing my toilet paper - I'm officially desperate!), but it could have been wishful thinking...

Anyway, it's nice to know I'm not the only one on this thread doing the AF dance!! I wish I knew what made AF start and I would do whatever it took to bring it on!!

This is turning out to be a great thread and I think we are going to have some huge successes this month! I can just feel it!! I feel like I have a lot in common with lot of you and I really don't even know you guys! So weird how stuff like this can bring people together.

passing the time

Besides work (which I don't have because I'm a full time student...just not in the summer) what do you all do to keep yourselves sane, or at least as sane as we can get? I scrapbook, though not too much lately, crochet, read a lot (if anyone can recommend good books, I'm into vampire fiction right now. Thank you Twilight) and play video games (console and computer). I also spend an obscene amount of time on Facebook-helps my social skills and keeps me in touch with family and friends around the country-but I don't really like to openly discuss my infertility issues outside of my immediate family and best friends. Thank goodness for this forum. It's amazing that so many people are going through what I'm going through and actually understand, I'm thankful for all of you and I've only been on this forum for like 3 weeks!!!
No one that I know of is opposed to fertility treatments, but I do have some uber religious friends that might take issue with it. I would hope that they wouldn't, but I can't take that chance. For now, they just know that we're trying to conceive.

In the meantime Aprodite, I'm right there with ya, still no AF . Although, I'm grumpy, the girls hurt like crazy and I'm bloated...yuck. I think she's just being a procrastinator...I'm trying to figure out what I can do to make her come faster. Is there anything!?!

KatKat and dylansmommy-I haven't cleaned the litterbox in about 4 years. That, the trash and the dishes are DH's domain. I do the laundry, clean the house, cook (most of the time), and scrub the toilets. I also buy gifts, remember birthdays, sign cards, and ensure that he calls his parents on the appropriate holidays. On top of all that, I frequently make baked goods for his co-workers.
I think he's just afraid that I'll leave our baby sitting in it's own filth so that I can avoid diaper duty. This I will not do, as children don't really create dust that aggravates my asthma and allergies. Besides I'm the only one of the two of us that has ever changed diapers and I'm not about to let him near our precious angel until he learns to do it to my standards...
We're thinking of getting the Cat Genie (kitty toilet , not the LitterMaid) once we get pregnant.

aphrodite, here's to hopin you come outta the black hole soon (love that lol)..good luck to ya

momtocats, if you like the twilight series that same author has a really good book in another kind of setting tho, it's called the host and i really liked it..also i don't know if you follow charlaine harris she has a couple series but the best are the dead series(lot better than it sounds lol) and the grave series(ditto)..they are well written and sometimes hilarious tho you wouldn't think it by the names..good luck to you..this constantly waiting can be dreadful..i think i am actually hoping for the weekend to go by fast(perish the thought)just so i can see if my follies are growing at my appt wed.
hey tell me if the cat toilet works..i always wondered about them (littermaid worked alright till the old style broke)the new one we got to replace was junk or our kitties were piggies in disguise lol so now it's the old fashioned boxes with plastic liners.
wish i could teach em to use our toilet lol(my aunts kitty would, boy was that different)
anyhow good luck and good day

still waiting...

STILL no AF. Growls. I'm trying to keep moving, as that might help. Cleaning out our spare bedroom and organizing my own closet so that when the time comes, we will have less to do It's about time...

dylansmommy- I'm reading The Host-not sure yet whether or not I like it. I've read all of the Charlaine Harris Sookie books (we also watch True Blood), the Lily Bard books and I have the Harper Connelly books, just haven't started them yet. I've probably read most of the more common series lately. We also had the LitterMaid, but with 3 cats, it's easier to just have DH do the litter. I'm excited to see about the Cat Genie though! Right now, we have a litter box that is about 1/2 the size of a standard bathtub. Currently, I'm in the middle of 3 books (The Host, Brisingr-3rd Eragon book, and A Lion Among Men-3rd Wicked book), that I just can't seem to progress with and I just finished two others (trashy vamp romance) and am constantly looking for more!

aphrodite- how long does it normally take after the Provera for AF to arrive? Silly question, but are you SURE you're not preggers?

I'm still waiting too. I am getting really crabby, so I think she is getting close!

As for being pregnant... I seriously doubt it. I am going POAS tomorrow morning though just to be sure. I called the RE office a week and a half ago and they told me that it can take up to 3 weeks. I've only taken it once before and that time I started while I was still taking it. I think there is a slight chance I could be preggers because 2 weeks ago I was convinced AF was started and we didn't use any protection (which my RE told us to do the first time I took Provera), then I got all the symptoms of ovulation, so there was that one time that was right around where it felt like I ovulated. But, my whole fertility problem is I don't consistently ovulate on my own, so I could have gotten the symptoms and nothing really happened, which has happened before. I don't know why my body just isn't responding to the hormones this month. This cycle was canceled because I didn't have any follicles, so I didn't respond to the Femera, and then AF won't show becuase I'm not responding to the provera!!

I'll let you girls know tomorrow what the hpt says, but it would be a really, really, really LOOOOOOOOOOONG shot for it to say anything but BFN... But hey, it would be awesome!!

I hope we all wake up with the morning with AF!

Ally...Did she come yet?? I hope the dance is helping..?? Here's a few for good measure hon...

Naomi (dylansmommy)...You're such a sweetie...Shout out to you too my dear!! I'll be temping with you hon...I found it a better predictor than anything else when it comes to getting a BFP...In fact, that's how I was sure I was last cycle, and sure enough, chemical...The only other medicated IUI cycle I temped, I was pg with twins...Hey! Maybe it has some "luckiness" to it?? Okay!! Never worked with my natural cycles, but you just never know...Right?? I hope that Clomid is blowing the dust off those follies and you have a great scan!!

Aphrodite...I sure hope you're pg and the af black hole will no longer matter kiddo!! If not, though, I sure hope she doesn't hold out much longer...

Molly (momtocats4now)...All those symptoms, are you sure you're not pg!? If not, I would say that she's got to be coming any day now kiddo...So hard when pg syptoms and af symptoms are so darn close...The tender breasts is definitely a sign of estrogen dominance, which means (if you're not pg) that it's likely that your progesterone is dropping...That's a good clue the witch is on her way...Doing a jig for you too sweetie!

AllDeliveriesNoBaby...I'll be going in on Tuesday for my follie check too...I'll be thinking of you when I'm in the stirrups kiddo ...Well, not exactly when I'm in them, but will be sending some follie growing vibes your way hon! How are you doing with your son leaving the nest hon? I'm sending you extra special hugs...I know it has to be the hardest thing...Knowing he's in great hands and will be having a great time, but still letting him go...Worrying and missing...Those weeks will be up before you know it, and in the meantime you've got a little brother or sister (or both!!) to work on, so you keep your focus there!

Cassie (TXgirl4evr)...Did we loose you hon? How did your u/s go yesterday? Would love to hear from you hon...

Patricia (dpkalina83)...Did we loose you too chica? Wherever you are, I hope af came and you're getting on with your cycle sweetie...Baby Dust!

Angel (angsea)...How are you holding up hon...I've seen that you've been posting, so know you're in great hands wherever you are, but just wanted let you know I was thinking of you and hoping this is the one hon!

bistro...I think we may have lost you hon...Pop in when you get a chance...

KatKat...Okay...No more duldrums kiddo! You've had over 24 hours to recover, and now we're onto the next one...Right??!! BFPs chicky all the way!! No looking at the past, now we're in the future...Visualizing that beautiful baby on that screen whose little heart is flickering 120 bpm...Feeling that knot in your throat, your face flushed beyond belief, those happy tears running down your cheeks, and your heart beating 150 bpm..? Got that in your head..? Okay...That's what we're working towards, and that's what's going to be happening in about 6 to 7 weeks from now...Believe sweetie...

Slyfox...3 down 2 to go...Hope the symptoms stay on the DL for the most part hon...When is your follie check? I hope this is our month!!

Girls!! Guess what??!! I had the best antral follicle count yet! Even better than those from two years ago...I had about 13 on my right and 12 on my left...And! My E2 was so nice and youthful at 33.9 cd3 (In February it was 67.3 which is not good...and in April it was 60, which isn't a whole lot better)! I wish I had them do an FSH this cycle, too! Would like to see if that was as equally youthful this cycle...Oh! And!! I lost 2.8 lbs this week , and am only 8.6 lbs from goal !! That's 63 total...I am so excited! Anyway, we start out with 250IU for three days, and back on Tuesday...I'm just feeling good about our numbers and hoping the weight loss may FINALLY be impacting my health in terms of my fertility..? I feel like menopause isn't quite so eminent and maybe there's a little more time and a few good eggs in there...RE mentioned that the clinic is on a roll, and BFPs are coming in by the truckload...He says they go in streaks...They'll have 3 or 4 weeks with none or just a few, and then all of a sudden, a wave of BFPs...We're going to ride that wave girls!! Okay!!?? Come on BFPs...We're ready for you!!
