IUI's July 19th - 28th

to everyone who might be getting IUI from the 19th through the 28th. Don't worry, if you're off by a few days we'll let you stay.

I'm not sure when I'll getting my IUI but after some quick calculations I think it will be between the 18th and the 22nd depending on how my RE feels about working weekends.

This will be my third IUI. I'm getting an ultrasound most likely today or Monday to see if I have a cyst that would impede this cycle. I'll probably be using 5mg femara again but I'm going to see if they might be willing to increase the dose.

If this cycle is canceled or doesn't work it's time for us to move onto injectibles which we cannot afford so we're really praying for .

Let the games begin.

I am so happy to FINALLY be posting in one of these!! We are having our first IUI in the end of july. I just finished the Provera yesturday so hopefully I'll get AF soon. I'm guessing that my IUI will be on the 20th or 21st but that's a total guess since this is our first one and we don't know how I'll respond!

I can't wait!!

Hi Ally, welcome to the IUI forum. So happy to have my first cycle buddy.

Be sure and update us when you're on CD1. I prematurely listed today as CD1 due to some spotting. I'm willing my body to hurry up and do it because I don't want to wait any longer than I have to to get started. But since I'm spotting I'm pretty sure I'll be bleeding by tonight.

I hope it works the first time for you. I know how excited/nervous I was on #1 and it was so great to have the support of all these wonderful gals.

Well, I'm 2 weeks past my last provera pill, with no AF in sight, but I'm optimistically confident that she will show in the next week and a half and I think I'll be ready for my IUI around the end of July! I hope I'm cycling with you ladies! Good luck to us all!!

Still no AF for me! Such a bummer! I was really hoping for it to start today but hopefully tomorrow!! I just want to be able to somewhat plan things... I hate waiting!!!

My sister is having her baby shower on the 20th so I really want to feel like I am making progress before then so I don't feel so bummed out. Hopefully by that time I'll have my ultrasound and follie count and anxiously awaiting my IUI!!

Ally, it looks like we're on the same protocol (except I've already started). I also started with 100 mg of Clomid and then Follistim 150 iu (same as Bravelle I think), and my plan only listed one shot of Follistim and then trigger with Ovidrel. Unfortunately, I did not respond to the meds very well and have no follicle growth at all after my first shot. I'm supposed to add a couple of shots and hope that it'll do the trick! If it does, my IUI will fall sometime during the week of July 13th. Good luck to you!

Pol79- that's what I am nervous about... Not responding and then not having any other shots so I can increase the dosage. Hopefully it won't be an issue though. I can't wait to see how you do!

I am still (im)patiently waiting for AF. I was really hoping today would be the day... But no signs of AF in sight!

Foxy, I'm sorry it didn't work out for you, I know how rough it is. Hopefully you'll have better luck this time!

Hang in there Ally, I too hate waiting for AF to come around after I know I'm not pregnant. I'm on CD3 today and hoping it will start wrapping up tonight. I usually don't bleed for longer than 3-4 days.

Have to call the doctor's office tomorrow morning to set up my ultrasound. They wanted me to come in on CD1 but they were closed on the 3rd and all weekend. Dang holidays messing with my baby making!

However it should be okay. The nurse said preferably CD1 but no later than CD5 and tomorrow is CD4. Wish me luck that I don't have a cyst and I can give it a shot this month!

Just hope this time have more than one follice an the DH count is more better.

I'm so glad to know I'm not going to be alone by having you all to chat with or ask questions. I sure hope lots of us this month gets a BFP.

Question I've seen people say ATM I think it is what does that mean?

Well girls looks like I'm going to be an early bird here. I just started my femara, will be going in on a follicle check on the 16th and if I have some mature follies, I'll have IUI on the 17th. I went ahead and posted a hello in the 11th - 18th thread but since I started this group I think I'll just stick around if ya'll don't mind.

Foxy, ATM usually means 'at the moment', as in... ATM I'm waiting for a phone call from the doctor.

I know what you mean about being excited to move on, I'm excited too even though I was devastated just a few days ago. It's a real rollercoaster isn't it?

Hello ladies! Happy Monday! After a two month break (by choice), I'm ready to go for my final cycle of 2009. I wish I had known how many injectable cycles it was going to take us to get pg again (our first was a m/c of twins)...I would have opted for IVF again...Our injectable cycles are running close to $4K with all the medication and monitoring...It will be so worth it when we get our BFP, but still hard watching us throw away good money for a heartache in the end. Anyway, no negativity! We're going to be positive and this one is going to do the trick!! We are all young, fertile, and are going to be wonderful mothers very very soon!

Currently, I'm just waiting for af to arrive, which should be this week (the 9th) and estimated IUI's on 22nd & 23rd of July...We got our BFPs in summer before, so hoping this is going to be lucky for us! My protocol will be Follistim 250 or 300IU/day starting cd3...Start Lovenox (blood thinner for my clotting mutation) injections daily starting cd6 through af or if (God willing) I'm pg, through 6 wks post partum. Then adding Ganirelix (suppressor) to the mix the day I have a follie measuring 14mm or greater (likely cd9) to keep me from surging on my own. We're going for 6 to 8 mature follies this time, so my E2's get closer to 2K, which is the reason for the Ganirelix. Trying to postpone a natural surge before I can get as many into mature range as possible. Ovidrel trigger, and b2b IUI's. Usually cd14 & 15 depending on how I respond. Dh is always a rockstar, so just hoping he stays healthy over the next few weeks. Glad to be joining you ladies, and glad to finally have a weekly/bi-weekly thread I can post on!

Let's go BFP's!!
